Stay Away from Upkeep Home Warranty

Over the 18 months I have been a member of UPKEEP, they have failed miserably. When my Salt Water cell failed for my pool they choose to send an after market replacement which my pool company refused to install because in their experience, it would burn out the electronics necessary to convert the freshwater to saltwater. UPKEEP decided to give me the cost of the after market product which was $1600 LESS than what the original equipment cost me to replace. Then my garage door opener failed and they refused to send anyone out because Jill, one of the two people handling claims, told me it appeared to be an electronic issue and the electronics were not covered. Next issue was when they sent John out to do my annual A/C check he failed to put the breakers back in the breaker box and after two days of 81 degree temps in the house, I was advised no one would be sent due to John "merely forgetting to put the breakers back and I could do that myself." During the term of the contract they sent an email revising terms of their contract proving to be a negative experience for me with no reduction in the cost of the contract. I have had many home warranty company's and thought UPKEEP might be more reputable, but after their denials of justified claims for which I was paying $144.00 monthly for their "Uppity" coverage, decided to leave and have found a much more reputable, responsible company at half the cost. BUYER BEWARE and if you want additional information, please email me thru the BBB and I will be happy to give you more in-depth information as well as the company I have chosen to replace them. I have decided to file a lawsuit against UPKEEP in the hope of having the BBB revise their A+ rating. My dealings with UPKEEP/Kevin/Jill/John have been nothing but disappointed in the way they do business as well as their first line of response being deny, deny, deny. They talk a good game but you will be left with false promises exactly as I have experienced.

Data breach of illegally held data

Upkeep have suffered a data breach with someone using the acquired data to fraudulently pose as Upkeep and attempt to scam money out of individuals.

Please note I have also never used, or given permission to Upkeep to have any records of my data, so it's extremely questionable how they are obtaining data, while also not keeping it secure.

Very user friendly software and staff

Very user friendly software and staff, Very easy to implement in our workplace and get people to start using it. So many options to expand including Stores management and vendors etc. Reporting still needs some tweaks but it sounds like these tweaks are in the works.

UpKeep Maintenance Management will Save you Time and Money.

Before UpKeep we would spend a considerable amount of time communicating via email to the repair technicians about various repair jobs, which resulted in additional time being spent to offer clarity and trips back and forth between the job site and our facilities shop. This process was costing me time and money. Now with UpKeep the repair requests come in, all the information is there, including description and location of the needed repair. I can quickly determine what products are needed for the job, add material cost to the request, add any additional important comments and assign a repair technician, all in on place. Then one click approves the request which automatically creates a work order and it is sent directly to the repair technicians mobile device. The process is quick and the number of trips between the job site and facilities shop have been reduced. Upkeep saves me Time and Money.

It's been really helpful in logistics…

It's been really helpful in logistics and facilities management at my company, CMR Surgical based in Cambridge, UK. Staff have been really content with it and the change to UpKeep felt natural. Would definitely recommend. Support team is really attentive, responsive and always try their best. 5/5

No more paper and simple to use

Upkeep helped me get away from the paper work orders in my organization and now I can reference past work orders quickly. It has helped our company communicate better and repair equipment in a timely fashion and more efficiently. My only concern is that the mobile functions are not the same as the desktop and vise versa which are needed when the admin is on the field. Upkeep is also very simple to use.

Great app

The Upkeep app has been helping us stay on top of our preventive maintenance schedules since the time we implemented it. Easy to organize equipment by multiple filters. Recurring schedules based on last completed date is great since we had to manually perform all that work on a spreadsheet before.

User friendly A+

This software is great! It does everything i need it to plus more. Its user friendly and not to expensive. The only thing i dont like is that you have to have the professional plan in order to get signatures on work orders. So for someone that doesnt need everything on the professional plan like myself then its a bummer if you want the signature. Other than that, no complaints.

Upkeep is an amazing and dynamic Maintenance and work order tracking system. The application has streamlined our operations at Department of Corrections and made communication much easier between departments.

UpKeep has been a Great platform for …

UpKeep has been a Great platform for our business to keep track of work orders and jobs in a "Live" format. Notes time are easily entered and viewed by multiple personal. All concerns or issues are felt with on a personal basis immediately! I've had nothing but great experiences with Ryan himself and crew. UpKeep has saved us money and made us profit by more accurately helping us see what time and materials have been used on a job, and helping us bill accordingly. Multiple notes help alleviate confusion between multiple employees on projects, and any future warranty claims. Thanks For a great product!
