Hi my name is Viona, and I did the online grade 12 University Families in Canada class. I had a great experience, the lessons were very easy to follow and well detailed which helped prepare me for assignments and tests. I also had a great teacher who was very helpful with any questions I had.

Experiencing online academic english for the grade eleven year alongside all of my other responsibilities and classes was extremely easy as OVS allowed a whole year for me to get the course contents done so it was never attempting to remove my focus from the fast paced in person school classes. I was able to get a 98% on my midterms and a 95% final mark, bringing it up from my previous 56% when done in person. To all the haters, I got a modest 82% in the in person Grade 12 Academic English at my day school, and I believe the reason my in person grade 11 English was so bad is that day school English is a very subjective course and depends heavily on the types of content your specific teacher decides to cover. I enjoyed the OVS course because it was the same for every other student and your teachers didn’t have the power of choosing which content to cover and/or how to weigh each task as that was already fairly predetermined by the amazing administrative team at OVS.

I’m Abrar, and I recently completed the Advanced Functions course MHF4U. I think OVS is a great platform for people who are interested in online education and their easy to use operating software makes it much easier to learn remotely. The lessons are in depth and the practice feature allows for experience working with the problems coming on the test. The teachers are also well taught and explain your mistakes and offer corrections. Overall, I would definitely recommend OVS to students looking for online learning.

What made my experience great was the communication between me, and my teacher. He was very straightforward, and quick in responding to my e-mails.

I am Sam, and I have recently finished my Eng4c course through OVS. It was a great experience, to complete it. Although it took a year to complete, I am not very good at English. But it was worth it. Now, finally, I will get the High School Diploma.

I took MCV4U-21 through OVS and really enjoyed the experience. One of the most enjoyable aspects of taking this course through OVS is that you are able to learn at your own pace as well as have some structure within the course to help guide you. I decided to take MCV4U-21 through OVS due to its ability to accommodate my schedule as opposed to attending my regular day school; I found it an excellent way to be able to balance school with all of the other things that I needed to do.

My teacher helped me when I had questions, explained them clearly and returned graded assignments in a timely manner. The practice exams, real exams, online resources, etc. were all very useful tools for helping me prepare for evaluations and stay focused throughout the course. The administrative staff were both supportive and easily accessible which made the entire experience even easier. OVS provided a structured, effective and simple approach to online learning, and I recommend it to fellow students who are searching for an alternative e-learning program.

I did 3 courses with OVS and honestly, it’s amazing if you’re rushing to get a credit done or need to learn something fast. The teachers are super nice and helpful, they always reply within a day and mark tests or assignments really fast. Whenever I got stuck, they actually took the time to help me out. I was stressed trying to finish my courses on time, but they were so supportive. Even the admin staff are great, they helped me with my university applications. Definitely recommend OVS if you’re in high school and need to get ahead.

As a student (my name is Youngsuh, i took MEL3E-01), I found this Grade 11 math course really clear and easy to follow, and the teacher’s guidance made a big difference in helping me understand difficult concepts. They were always supportive and explained things in a way that made learning feel less stressful and more manageable.

Online courses are affordable and easy to burn through. But unfortunately the grading process and lack of response from a TVO ILC is horribly slow. If someone on their end actually did their job, then maybe people would actually have an education. They have put me behind and effecting my career progression.
