Terrible customer service, not recommended at all. My case was ignored, extremely unprofessional approach.
They charged me incorrectly and I reached out to them straight away, however they tend to ignore my case and they keep saying the same thing.
I have used Onlinetradesman several times since 2018 with satisfactory results in every trade but ROOFING & GUTTERING where there is grave cause for concern and I advise caution.
Be on the look out for responses from someone OTHER than the tradesman listed as the respondent to the job you listed. The scam is designed to bypass the Online tradesman qualification process because the 'middleman' contacts you by phone or email or answers the mobile number you ring. He tells you that eg. the Eastern European name you called has asked him to refer you to another guy from Wexford, or Louth or Limerick or wherever. Some even tell you they have a few hundred Euro call out fee. So obviously I informed Onlinetradesman.ie about this scam although I was aware there was no obvious way of protecting their slogan of offering the public only QUALIFIED, Registered Tradesmen.
Why I am writing this TWO STAR review is because at first glance some of the respondents to my ROOF & GUTTERING jobs this year have been 'cherry-picked' after I contacted their Customer Care with this issue and concern and I got what I considered to be a robotic reply from a representative, whom I also rated as TWO STAR. Am I disgruntled or Civic minded? I imagine myself to be the latter. Some of you will agree with me others not I guess. Thank you for reading. Buyer Beware.
