NEVER USE THIS BRAND ESP THEIR L LYSINE PRODUCT

I have been using Sona L Lysine for the last 2 years as had been getting consistent cold sores and finally I was down to getting one a year if even. My pharmacist convinced to use this brand as they were out of Sona and I was concerned a few days without could see an outbreak of cold sores. I wish I had waited as since I started this ridiculous brands attempt at actual L Lysine I have never had as many cold sores, 3 cold sores in 2 months to be exact. This brand is clearly beyond fake and relies on placebo effect for people to think it works, Sona in the other hand is actually L lysine and the effects are clear to be seen.

In hindsight it is of no surprise the shelves are full of this junk with pharmacists attempting at every opportunity to get rid of it, while the likes of Sona flies out the door.

Such a disgrace of a product and shameful that it’s an Irish company, just makes the duping 20 times worse

Useless packaging

The products are provided in a box that has a sleeve type fitment over the top. If you are not aware of this (i.e. someone else in the household purchased the item) when you pick the box up, the base plus the glass bottle of oil slide out the bottom and smash on the floor. Very expensive mistake to make but in part down to very poorly conceived packaging
