Shoddy workmanship and irresponsible ownership
Kasper Boye owner of One Funky Furniture, diminishes responsibility for his work.
A few years ago, we purchased a New Yorker door for our new kitchen. Kasper Boye and One Funky Furniture was recommended by a friend who was a family member of his.
The New Yorker door was eventually delivered after a delay of 6 months, at one period, not long efter we had paid 50% deposit, we could not get in touch with Boye, he did not answer our mails nor a phone calls, we even drove to his private address in Copenhagen but to no avail.
Eventually after many more mails and family help, Boye returned our call and said the doors would be delivered just before christmas.
The seals on the doors were shoddy and uneven on both sides and before long dirt and debris had gathered inbetween the seals where they are impossible to clean
I contacted Boye and sent him photos of the problem and the defaults in both doors. Boyes reply: “The day to day responsibilty of cleaning and maintaining the doors is the responsibility of the customer and not with me, it is not my responsibility and i will not come with suggestions for reperation”
There are many companies out there that can carry out the same work and with 100% satisfaction and a guarante, Kasper Boye and One Funky Furniture is not one of them.
