I found the claim process poor
I found the claim process with One Call Insurance/One Call Claims insurance to be one of the worst experiences of my life. The claims Portal isn't working, and your staff are aware of it. I wasted many hours trying to use it. The many staff I talked to contradicted each other; nothing happened unless I constantly chased One Call Claims insurance. I returned their courtesy car in a cleaner condition than I received it. However, my car was returned in a worse condition than before the repair. It was returned dirty, and it is clear your garage workers have no respect for customers' cars. You returned my car filthy. What is the standard of the repair on areas that I cannot see?
Happy chappy

Impossible to "not renew"
Impossible to "not renew" can't talk to anyone, last year they renewed my insurance at £50.00 dearer they my "Go Compare" site but could not cancel. I'm in a queue for hours. I'm going to have to cancel my credit card and get a new one. Waiting for an agent in "chat" (9th in queue) only to be told I'm in the wrong department" then I'm 5th in a new queue! Looks like I have got through to someone.
Dishonest
After paying for the year fully comprehensive my car was damaged to such an extent that it required scrapping.I had seven months left of cover so I requested a rebate .I was told that I wasn’t entitled to any refund?I did not make a claim on the damage and I couldn’t get any return on the seven months I had left.
This company is shamefully dishonourable.Another company that takes people for a ride.I believe they are scammers who are not trustworthy . I can only advise to avoid using them .
Poor communication when informing me I…
Poor communication when informing me I had ended my policy too early (I sold the vehicle) and had been charged for ending it early. All I had was an email with a link to the portal saying I needed to make a payment, but I didn't know why and the portal didn't explain why or show how much was owed. They didn't respond to me when I asked them to explain further. Then I went on holiday out of the country for two weeks and returned to a letter with said explanation of why I owed money, so I contacted via the live chat as soon as I received the letter, only to find out it had been passed to debt recovery and additional charges added. The letter hadn't mentioned it had been passed to debt recovery, and so I'd not been given ample opportunity to resolve without having additional charges added. Especially as they'd not responded to my previous emails asking for explanation of why I owed them money. Then when I contacted the debt recovery department to explain all this, they tried to say they had sent numerous letters, emails and texts. I had literally received one letter through my door and that was the one I responded to! So they're full of sh*t! Don't use them if you want a professional experience.
I had a no fault accident with proof…
I had a no fault accident with proof back in 2021. Sent them proof from the RAC couldn’t accept it and needed a better letter to explain. Keep telling me I was at fault, when it clearly states No Fault Accident. They have now added £100 onto my direct debit and charged me £42 for a letter. I am going to the insurance ombudsman. I think they are expecting me to just pay the extra! I absolutely will not how can you blame some one for an accident when it clearly states no fault. Sounds very dodgy to me! Wish to god I had read these reviews before I went ahead and went with them.
OneCall slow and inefficient
Still waiting for effective resolution after several months.
Very pleasantly being stonewalled.
😒
Dodgy dealings!
One Call Insurance Limited was fined £684,000 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2018 for breaches of the Client Money Rules, related to mishandling client money and breaching Principle 10 of its Conduct of Business rules. The original penalty was £977,147, but this was reduced by a 30% settlement discount. The CEO, John Radford, also received a fine and prohibition from handling client money.
Never ever use this company
Never ever use this company. It is impossible to cancel an automatic renewal on their site, their telephone system refuses calls from mobile phones but answers a land line phone then leaves you at the end of the message. They have no email address available unless you troll through the internet. Then finally after a week of trying you find with 3 weeks to go they will charge you for the paper work that they produce. Fortunately today I have sent a recorded letter and an email just 3 weeks before renewal on 20 Sept. What’s the betting they will try to charge.
I would rate zero if possible
I would rate zero if possible. Trying to add a family member to my insurance on the weekend - forget it!
Do Not Use.
After a no fault accident followed their advise and used One Call Claims(separate sister company) who have no phone numbers, except no emails and can only be contacted by chat. Must have spent a solid week chasing and chasing and now 3 months later still not resolved even though 3rd party's insurers admitted liability 2 days after accident.
Expensive renewals
Expensive renewals. Any changes (e.g. changing of car) cost £25 online or £50 by phone. I won't be using them again.
I have a contents insurance with…
I have a contents insurance with Onecall that is useless. I had a water leak from my radiator nothing too bad. I live in a top floor flat and the people downstairs noticed a patch on the ceiling. I was very confident with my insurance it covered small water leaks. I contacted them and I was told I had got through to the wrong department. I eventually got through and spoke with a lady and she said after I had explained my issue. YOU are not covered I said why and she said it was a poor insurance I had taken out with Onecall or the lowest with no insurance for leaking pipes or in my case radiator. My renewal is in August as Winston Churchill always did was stick 2 fingers up in my case no Victory. I will be polite and say OneCall can go to the Foreign Office (F.off)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First Class

I arranged my car insurance today through One Call, and I had the pleasure of live chatting with MC2. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. MC2 was professional, friendly, and really helpful—making the process easy to understand and quick to complete. I felt confident that I was getting the right cover at a good price. Highly recommend One Call, especially with excellent team members like MC2!

terrible company ' they don't return…
terrible company ' they don't return calls ' generally not helpful? they keep passing you back & fourth to different departments! repairers not answering calls terrible & shocking customer service ! could go on 🙈 don't use them!!!
Dont use them
Dont use them. They auto-renew your insurance policy and it is impossible to cancel! you cant email them, phone or chat to them- the queues are so long its impossible. There is no option in the portal for opting out of auto-renew.
Do not use
Do not use. They are a broker and charge Extortiate fees such as £45 just to amend your policy and £55.99 to cancel plus admin fees etc. Make sure to read the table of fees in the T&Cs Motor Booket, pg 12 to see how they rip you off.
CS2 agent very helpful
Called today to change my policy spoke to CS2 and got everything sorted very easily and everything explained clearly very happy and easy
