I will never buy another pair of Oliver peoples, returned order a month ago and no refund, nobody will advise what is going on, £710 such a lot of money to lose. Avoid at all costs

NEGATIVE 5 STAR
If I could give it a negative 5 star rating I would. Bought some frames from my Optometrist store and was extremely happy with my first pair of Oliver Peoples glasses. So I decided to look at their online website to see more variety. Made an online order from their website (Order number #3310139549141) I never received my order and filled a claim with their customer service. In the form it said it can take up to 3 weeks for them to complete their investigation. It has now been OVER FOUR WEEKS and they are dodging all of my emails. When I call their customer support all they tell me is to wait another week. What kind of f*c* Sh** is this? The tracking number they provided me (1Z71W36E0421474938) is showing that the package is unable to deliver. I am left with nothing while Oliver Peoples have everything of mine. They'll rob your money and leave you in the dust. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY FROM THIS PLACE.
Have been wearing Oliver People frames…
Have been wearing Oliver People frames for the last 8 years(Sheldrake). Recently bought 2 (Cary Grant and Gregory Peck). Solid frames, colour as expected, can only recommend.
Avoid at all costs - literally
Avoid at all costs - literally, save yourself the cost of these extremely expensive glasses. Not worth it. Flimsy manufacturing. Arm fell off its hinge and resulted in me and my husband being on our hands and knees searching for the screw while on our honeymoon. Embarrassing.
Fall of once beloved brand
I read a lot about the falling quality of once great Oliver Peoples since it's bought up by Luxottica... but I liked the look of the new model (Rorke), and bought a pair from a 3rd party retailer when I found they offer some discount.
Upon receiving, I found the hinges bit tight, but I thought nothing should be wrong. After a couple of days of just trying it on at home, the left temple fell off clean from the hinge. I had to send it back to the retailer for a replacement.
After 8 weeks of waiting, I received the second pair. The hinges were smoother at least. After 3-4 days of wearing them out, I find white lines forming at the one end of the temple about the hinge (typical sign of stress fracture for plastic material). I didn't even handle them anyway roughly either! Now it's too late to send them back to the retailer nor I want to wait another 8 weeks, so I'll have to put up with it praying that they do not get much worse.
They're 400 euro worth pair in retail price, for heaven's sake!
Great style but horrible quality
Great style but horrible quality. I would not recommend!
Disappointed with the complete lack of customer care/repair service provided. I found my pair of folding sunglasses with a crack on the bridge while in their case and I was told by the sales associate that nothing can be done. Barely worn them, now useless and a complete waste of money. I would expect a luxury company to offer better service / repair options.
Tldr: bought a pair of sunglasses in store which appeared to be used because it was full of scratches and the brand failed to provide proper customer service. Never buying here again.

Initially I had a good experience in store and bought a nice pair of sunglasses. At home I noticed the frame was full of scratches and after further investigation they turned out to be from an old 2019 release (lol). The only thing I can conclude here is that I bought a 4 year old used, and out of collection pair of sunglasses for full price. As you can imagine, I was quite upset.
I don’t live in Amsterdam so I reached out to online customer service, but since they refused to provide an explanation of what happened, even after insisting. I reached out to the actual store who asked me to come by for a solution. In store, no apology or explanation was given and was actually welcomed with quite some attitude. So the only option was a refund but in order to do so they physically required the card the purchase was made with. The purchase was made with a card I didn’t have on me, they refused a workaround and wanted to send me home to get it. I refused to travel another 2hrs to come back and had to insist multiple times to accept the sunglasses and manually transfer the money which they eventually did. Though even transferring the money took weeks and multiple times of asking.
I have my money back but from a luxury brand like this I think it’s unacceptable that they sold me used sunglasses, showed zero sympathy for the situation, gave no apology for what happened and made the whole road to a solution a painful experience. Wanted to love this brand but never buying again.
I ordered a pair of the Finley Esq… and the color does not match the website.
I ordered a pair of the Finley Esq glasses in the Washed Teal color and what I received is not even close to the color on their website! I reached out to let them know that this is the most money I have ever paid for glasses and now I'm stuck with a color they did not represent accurately on their website and I do not like! Nobody even responded to my email! Very disappointed!! Mike 6/6/23 Customer support reached out asking for more info I sent them more info including pictures of what I received vs the color on the website and they said it was because of my computer monitor made them look different even though the look the same on my phone or ipad!!! Do not purchase glasses from them!! To many other company's that actually care about customer satisfaction especially considering how expensive they are! I would be happy to send my pictures to anyone considering them to judge for yourself!!

DON'T BUY PRESCRIPTION GLASSES FROM THEM!
If you need something with prescription, go elsewhere. If you must shop with them shop instore only not online, I found out the hard way that the online store is nothing to do with the physical shops. I paid £600 in total for a pair of prescription spectacles online that appear to have a manufacturing defect confirmed by the instore team however the instore team won't help me, and the online team won't take them back to assess them as I'm out of the returns window. They will only help if I can provide photos of the defect but unless you're wearing them you can't see the defect as it's to do with the reflective coating on one lens, which the online store suspects has been applied to thickly. I cannot wear them and will have to pay another £100 + to have new lenses made elsewhere. I cannot afford to pay another £250+ to replace the original lenses with Oliver people and will never shop there again.
Luxury price with junk company service hey make very good looking frames but…
They make very good looking frames but the designs, in my case at least, proved to be structurally deficient. What is most troublesome, however, is the realization that this company alleges to be a luxury brand but they do not stand behind their product at all. 1 year warranty-no ifs, hands or buts. That isn't a luxury brand in my opinion just an unjustified high price frame. Seems eye doctors carry these frames only because the mark up is high. Buyer beware. I'm done with them!

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. I bought a pair of “titanium” frames to use as reading glasses that were guaranteed as being “nickel free”. With only sporadic wear, the outer layer of the frames wore off and I developed a serious reaction to the frames. The frames were expensive and I only bought them because I was told they were “nickel free”. After contacting their customer service they admitted the frames do contain nickel (!!) but they refused to give me a refund.
The worst luxury glasses ever!
The worst luxury glasses ever!
£307 with £290 for varifocal lenses. and when cleaning them as normal, gently with a soft cloth at only 5 months old they snapped straight in half across the nose bridge us they have never really fitted comfortably.
After care service and care useless too.
What a headache.
Avoid and don't waste your money.
You pay for the name, but the true quallity is absolute cheap crap plastic.
What a bloody con.
Walmart has better Quality
DON’T waist your money. Worst luxury purchase of my life. They pretend to be luxury, but it’s cheap crap. The fit, the comfort, imagine the worst possible pair of glasses. I think a high schooler in wood shop could put something better together. They look good but don’t fit and don’t feel form fitting. They don’t even reach the ear so expect to push the brim back up to your nose every 5 seconds if you buy these glasses. I’m not joking, they fell that far…don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Shambles
Shambles. Ordered on the 11th of June, package is nowhere to be found. Customer service is rude, I hope not because I have an accent… you need to up your game if you want to be lux.
Waiting for my money!!!!
Returned the goods within the 14 days revocation. After several weeks and several email to the customer service (without answer) I still have not received back my payment via Paypal.
Handed everything over now to my lawyer to make sure the refund is happening. Cost will go to Luxottica.
Never again!!!!!
Bad customer service!!!
Bad customer service!
We ordered two pairs of glasses. I had to send back one of them because they did not fit. Today (over a month later) I am still waiting for my Klarna invoice to be updated. After several mails, and several phone calls, nothing happened. On mails I get no response and in phone calls I am repeatedly assured that the data was passed to Klarna, which is not true (I have already contacted Klarna). It is really a joke! With such a brand like Oliver Peoples you really expect a different customer service. That was the last time I ordered something there!!!
Ordered online
Ordered online, sent prescription same day, a few days later revived an email saying they had not received my prescription so sent again and had nothing back. Emailed 3 times over the next week with no response. Telephoned and gave up after sitting on hold for 45 mins. After almost 3 weeks and no contact from the company my money for the glasses arrived back in my account with no response or explanation. Went 3 weeks without glasses and the money tied up. Waste of time buy somthing else without the designer label. Same quality for half the price.
Bought this €600 “limited edition” gold…
Bought this €600 “limited edition” gold plated prescription glasses. The lenses itself were fine and the (independent) store did a great job. The glasses itself though, are of desastrous quality! The rubbers on the end of the ear supports are showing inside rust, the screws are loosening and the nosebridges are nowhere near rigid. Even the screws connecting the nose piece to the 2 main components come loose, like all the time. The shop had to fix them with superglue. I can’t imagine €600 glasses to need superglue to even work properly.... The glasses squeek and constantly need tightening. My previous pair of Oliver Peoples glasses broke at the frame, which I thought was just an incident. Now it’s clear to me that it was due to horrible build quality, even while being ridiculously overpriced. Never again am I buying this brand.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I will never buy from them again, and I will be sharing with others how poor my experience was. I needed to return a pair of frames. After over 2 weeks, numerous emails and numerous phone calls, there is still no way for me to return the frames. The courier service they use has been impossible to reach either via email or phone (the email address took me to a completely incorrect business), I have tried to call 3 times. I have asked Oliver Peoples for an address where I can mail my frames at my own expense and they refuse to provide one to me. These frames were over 500.00 Cdn. I'm very frustrated and very disappointed.

Worst costumer service experience ever
Worst costumer service experience ever! I had to threap my truth even it was confirmed by mail.
Horrible unprofessional customer…
Horrible unprofessional customer service.
I cannot believe I need to write this. Oliver Peoples sell some of the most expensive glasses on the market, and are a major Worldwide brand. Yet, their customer service is beyond dreadful. How can they let this side of their business damage their reputation ?
I purchased some glasses which sadly did not suit me. I sent them back and I have not been refunded. I've now had 5 emails from the Oliver Peoples customer service team and there will literally be ONE meaningless word in their email. It's as if they are intentionally having some kind of weird joke at my expense.
Over the years I've bought around 20 pairs of their glasses. But NO MORE. I will not be treated like this!
