Very disappointed with the customer…
Very disappointed with the customer service of this company. Ordered a number of cds. 3 ordered were listed but weren't shipped. Received refunds which is fine. But my issues are: Please tell me which ones weren't available, why still keep them up as available on your website when they're not, why include the unavailable cds in the shipping manifest. I have tried 4 times to get answers and have received only one dismissive reply. The other 3 requests have been totally ignored. Its a real shame as they have some good stuff. Customer service really needs to be improved. Could learn a real lesson from Amazon.

GREAT SELECTION OF MUSIC. I SEEM TO HAVE ORDERED DUPLICATES DUE TO THE FACT THERE IS NO ORDER HISTORY.
THE PACKING NEEDS TO BE A LITTLE BETTER BECAUSE THE PLASTIC CASES BREAK DURING THE GENTLE HANDLING OF THE USPS.

My order was filled and shipped promptly. Updates were sent. The items were well packaged and arrived sooner than estimated. I find jazz CDs here that I don't see elsewhere.
Oldies.com used to be great
Oldies.com used to be great. I don't know what is going on now, but the service deteriorated to the point where I can't recommend them anymore.
The first problem is the shipping delays: it's now taking more than a month to receive an order. On average, I got my orders in a little bit more than a month. In 2014, I would get my orders to Canada in less than 2 weeks.
It seems that they don't have the stock they pretend they have. It would explain the long shipping delays.
They usually take 2 weeks to prepare the order and print the shipping label.
I made 5 orders during the month of May and June. When I noticed that I wasn't getting my stuff in a timely manner, I emailed them to cancel my orders. I never got any reply. At this point, I can tell you that there is no customer service at Oldies.com.
2 months later I got my orders, but some of the DVDs were missing. At least, I got a refund for them on my credit card...
Another problem I got is for their retro DVD series. I ordered 3 of them that should come with a postcard. One of them is missing the postcard. Since they don't have customer service there is nothing I can do to get it. Their "postcards" are also very cheap, they are more small prints than real postcards. They are not made of cardboard, just normal glossy paper, and they are printed only on one side, the other side is just white.
I left 2 stars because the prices on some of the DVDs are very good and because they have some very rare DVDs. The packages were good too, everything was properly protected.
I can't recommend oldies.com anymore. Even random eBay purchases are better now.
I love Oldies....BUT....
I loved my recent order. I really love the things that Oldies. com has to offer, however their lack of real time inventory is frustrating. I never know if I will get what I order until it shows up short or fulfilled. Many times it is short 1 or 2 from my choices and the times I have called I have gotten attitude about it. Also, shipping is overpriced. I sell on ebay and media mail is cheap as hell. For what they charge, I could buy more product. They have a ton of great things, great prices and love the variety, however other things need to be buttoned up for me to shop there more and not ebay, mercari, marketplace or Amazon.

Discovered this site by accident and I'm glad I did! Great selection of older and newer films and the prices are very reasonable. They also sell other collectibles, CDs and magazines. If you're a fan of older films, film noir, black and white and obscure horror I urge you to give Oldies.com a try. I think you'll like it. I sure do!!!

I only have good things to comment for this company. They offer classics and rare find movies for a cheap price. Amazing client service. And their website is customer friendly. We truly appreciate your hard work guys.
I have had 1 problem
I have had 1 problem, where i recieved a empty dvd case. I reported the situation, but never recieved no satisfaction from you. Other than that, everything else is fine.
2nd surprise more problems..
2nd time I ordered ....surprise more problems.
This time I didnt receive all my movies I contacted(emailed and called 3 times) the company with no response.... 3 movies were missing....the 3 I really wanted Santa clause 1to3,joy ride3,kill joy 1 to 3.....
If they were out of part of my order they should have either emailed me, called me or both to see if I still wanted the order. Those were the three I really wanted and the only reason why I ordered the other movies in order to receive the free shipping.
After the first time having problems from this company I should have known better. I decided everybody deserves a second chance and they just sent me what they felt like and refunded me whatever they felt like with no email, no call and I think this is very unprofessional. If I would have gotten a call from them or an email from them I would have told them I didn't want the order that the three that I wanted I wasn't receiving so there was no point of going forward with the rest of the order.
I'm beyond how they treat their customers and the lack of professionalism I understand if you email somebody or call somebody a couple times for a week and they don't respond and then sending out the order but I didn't even get an email notifying me why was being given money back.
No offense to this company.... I will not be doing business with this company ever again in fact I will be notifying people ( even the bbb)not to go to this company either they had good prices I figured I'd give them another chance and I got screwed for it.
I do want to note that the first time they did make it right but I don't know how they're going to make the situation right at this point I can't mail back the movies because I already started watching some of them.
Unfortunately I'm in the process of moving and haven't had a chance to check the order but I did as soon as I saw that I was getting money refunded back to me.

I have very good thing to say about oldies.They have rare movies for a reasonable price. Excellent customer service.And there web site is easy to use.I have using oldies since the 1990s.And they are still going.strong.Keep up the good work.
Missing items
My name is Tony Bobet. On Friday, May 5, 2021. I have order three order from them. The order#5868038. I suppose to receive two DVD movie. I only received one DVD. The title movie is Showgirls NC-17. I suppose to receive two more items from them. One is In the Cut Director Uncut, item#XRI-2366D. The other items is CD from Richard Marx. If I don't get my items by two or five days I asking for a refund and I am going to change the rating star.
