Beware import duties to the UK
Their products are good but the website is not clear about VAT and shipping. I was charged £40 by FedEx on top of the website price. The website stated "The prices in the online catalogue include VAT (22%) if required by the destination country". Old Angler when challenged said they had already taken the VAT off at the price offered but this is not made clear at the checkout.

We regret receiving a one-star review. When you asked for an explanation of Fedex's request for a £40 payment, you were told that it wasn't VAT (since you're a UK customer) that was being charged, but rather customs duties, as the UK is no longer part of the European Union after Brexit. This is explained in the customer service section of our website.

Really happy with my first leather bag
This was my first leather item, so there's only so much I can say. The leather smells good, unlike on other products, which I think comes from their fancier tanning process. It also feels great in the hands. The bag is pretty and it fits the "modest business man" look I was going for.
As for the negatives (which are minor), the strap feels a tad too long for me. I think I'll need to punch one or two extra hole in it so that I can adjust it to my preference. I also wish it had a couple more "pockets" on the inside for organizing my stuff, specially my power bank, my medicine carrier and my memory card holder.
Otherwise, it hasn't disappointed and I'm hoping it will be a bag I will use for many years. Thank you Old Angler.

Great customer service
Great customer service. The buckle on my leather briefcase broke after 5 years of near-daily use. I emailed a copy of my warranty card to the company and they sent me a replacement buckle. The only charge was for FedEx international shipping.

At first the website didn't accept my credit cards, so I wrote the company. They responded promptly and was very helpful. A few hours later they send the bag, which I received two days later. An excellent service, and I highly recommend you to buy there.
