definitely a place to be specifically inspired by english design & culture; a very niche store for a classic, elegant & multifaceted style revered by the world in a spectacular storefront that tours you through various staple homes from city to country fittingly like the diversity of texas culture and landscape all tied together by the idea of family first, as evidenced by luxurious sprawling furniture outfitted with the finest aesthetic materials against classic neutral decor with sporadic, robust, textured accents that marry the tranquility of nature with the opulence of british ideals bringing the ultimate tranquility to be enjoyed by all
in any home. it's fun the things you can learn chatting with the expert sells people about the subtle details like the amazing shagreen textures which have a pragmatic element in their good grip as well as being an ancient concept dating back a millennia to the qing dynasty, a common motif throughout as you get a worldly ambience incorporated in theme echoing the not so distant yet still ingrained colonial cultural that has shaped and referenced the unique english design. my favorite place to chill is the greenhouse simply because it looks so cool; perfect as the centerpiece of the store. i'm sure a lot of fancy designers grace these grounds whisking away OKA ideas to river oaks walls, but i feel like my own designer here!
