Don't buy. It won't detect what they claim, you need to pay subscription of app, it will be monthly for life long, check in terms and conditions. This is on top of the device price

I wanted to monitor my power consumption because I noticed a rise in my electricity bill. So, using OHM Assistant and it has made the process very convenient. An added advantage is that it calculates an estimate of my monthly electricity bill based on my power consumption.

I have been using OHM Assistant since past 3 months and am very happy about this product. It helped me to resolve my most important concern; i.e. I was looking for solutions to lower my energy consumption and electricity usage. My electricity bills were hitting the roof. OHM Assistant helped me to monitor my electricity consumption at appliance level. It also helped me understand about the appliance I am using. Whether they are working as per manufacturer's rating. I didn't need to change any of my electricity wiring. This device is connected to electricity meter and data about electricity consumption is on smartphone via easy to use app interface. I can also monitor if I left any device on and have left the home.

A brilliant device! I think Ohm Assistant is one of the best if not THE best home energy monitor available in the market. It does what it claims by allowing you to monitor the power consumption of your devices on your smartphone. The user interface for Android is simple and easy to follow as well. The setup was quick as an electrician helped us to fit the device in our meter (since their website suggested it would be best if a professional does this). Overall, a very satisfactory buy for us and I would recommend it.
