Service was very slow. Our orders on a table for 4 came 10 minutes apart and the drinks did not arrive until we had nearly finished eating. The waitress taking orders seemed more interested in her mobile than customers. Such potential and so disappointing mainly I suspect due to one member of staff.

Yes beautiful location, lovely inside and outstanding drinks.
But, the owners dog (although lovely), 25was allowed to run free inside and outside front of premises which I had no problem at all with. The dog defficated on the pavement outside, Staff were totally unaware, so I told them. Now if the mess was dealt with straight away, I would not have a problem, it wasn't, and unfortunately the pavement became quite a mess!
So yes, keep your dog inside restaurant, it is lovely and maybe in future be more responsible?

A gem in the heart of Sherborne. Impeccable taste with top notch service and the finest G&T we’ve tasted in many years.

We ordered the mixed platter of sushi for my daughter‘s 18th, although it’s quite expensive it was amazing quality and beautifully presented. A real treat for a special occasion.

When we are in Sherborne we always make time to have a coffee and cake at Ogilvy & More.Cakes are delicious and the chutneys and preserves you can buy are a bonus too

Amazing experience!

We visited the Sherborne store today, market day, hoping for a light lunch. Although there were many staff only one seemed to be taking orders so service was slow and the female was somewhat abrupt.

We were unfamiliar with the store and no menu appeared to be available so we ordered two sliced of sponge cake and hot drinks. The two slices we cut for us and they were very different in size, one being at least 20% bigger than the other but we were charged £4.25 each. The cakes arrived first at our table first, long before the coffee and tea. Seeing a few other customers with what looked like main meals we asked if there was a menu. These were then provided. As neither my wife or I liked the cake we decided to get a main meal else where and hope for better service to go with it!
We achieved this nearby!

A must visit! Such delicious food and wine, surely the best in Sherborne plus a wonderful array of homeware for some great shopping. Thankyou Ogilvy and More, I will definitely be returning!

Regrettably I placed an order with this company for a Hamper to be delivered to Bath, before Christmas. The money has been taken from my account and the Hamper has still not been delivered. Assurances from James at O&M that things would be resolved have come to nothing and it would seem that they have now stopped communicating.

Superb Brie and Cranberry toasties, Polly,Rowan, Grace and Winkie all excellent lovely beer and Christmas cake and croissants. .pleasant service I thoroughly recommend it

We recently held a meeting in O&M’s meeting room. Right from the beginning of the process the communication was excellent. Our experience on the day couldn’t be faulted - nothing was too much trouble for James and his team. The refreshments were delicious, including a buffet lunch.

Had a delightful time at Ogilvy & More last week. The coffee was perfect and the salad was not only beautiful to look at but was absolutely mouthwatering. Feel so lucky to have such a gem in Sherborne! Service was brilliant and the atmosphere was great. Will be going back many many times!

Lots of promise but disappointing

We booked for lunch and asked a question about the menue but never got an answer until we got up to leave and paid for our tea which was about 20 minutes

The Waitress had walked past us 2 or 3 times with out giving us an answer and I really felt ignored

Service needs to be genuine and consistent

It will be a long time before I think about going back as we are blessed with some amazing places in Sherborne

A man walks into a bar... no it's not a joke; just a shock at how amazing the service here is. Ask for something not on the menu and the team bend over backwards to assist.

Michelin guides used to give 3 for a place worthy of making a special trip. This is one such place.
