Disappointing Experience When It Mattered
I have used OfficeServ's address service for over two years and, until recently, I had no major issues. However, my opinion of the service changed when an important piece of government correspondence never reached me.
When I contacted customer service to seek assistance, I was simply told that there was nothing they could do and that I should contact Royal Mail. The problem with that advice is that I had no tracking or reference number for the missing mail, and Royal Mail would not investigate based solely on my name and address.
What disappointed me most was the complete lack of ownership or willingness to help. As a paying customer using a mail handling and forwarding service, I expected at least some effort to investigate my concerns or provide meaningful support. Instead, I was left without answers and with the worry that I may have missed important government correspondence that could potentially result in penalties or other consequences.
I was also unhappy with the way my concerns were handled by a member of staff called Jess. The interaction came across as dismissive and unprofessional, as though what happened to my mail was not OfficeServ's concern. While I understand that not every missing item can be traced, I do expect customer service staff to show empathy and a genuine willingness to assist when a customer raises a legitimate concern.
What concerns me most is that I have seen zero effort from OfficeServ to investigate the issue. As a result, I have very little confidence that the same thing could not happen again in the future. The problem is not only that the mail went missing, but the fact that my concerns appeared to be dismissed without any meaningful attempt to look into what happened.
Because of how this situation has been handled, I am unlikely to renew my subscription when it expires. Customers paying for a mail forwarding service need confidence that important correspondence will be handled properly and that concerns will be taken seriously when things go wrong. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I no longer have that confidence.

After buying a dozen or so of their premium registered office service, this lot thanked me by throwing away the company seal of one of my companies and returned a number of items to sender without so keeping a record. Thoroughly unimpressed.

As discussed in our previous email chain, non-official items including parcels are only held for seven days when the correct service is not in place. This is stated within the notification emails you receive when an item arrives not covered by the service.
As mentioned, we do keep a record of received items, and items that are returned to sender.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide in depth details of return addresses, due to the high volume of mail we receive on a daily basis.
We would always recommend contacting us once the notification email is received, to ensure our team can provide further sender information, if and when required.
