When people think about planning for death they think about wills, life insurance and funerals. We take these cold processes and turn them into something much more human. Founded by Sam after his mum died suddenly, we’re a group of people who work in death because we’ve been affected by it. We know the difference a good plan makes, and what it’s like when there isn’t one. Death can come between us, leave mess, legal fees, frustration. But it can also connect us. We see a world where people talk openly about death, and work out the real meaning of legacy, one that connects to them. We’re here to make that world happen.

My appointment with Gloriah could not…

My appointment with Gloriah could not have gone better. She was very knowledgeable and professional, but also warm, friendly and empathetic. I now have complete peace of mind that everything is in place to take care of my loved ones according to my wishes. I highly recommend taking this step with Octopus legacy.

I asked to fill in details online

I asked to fill in details online, so I gave my basic info. I chose NSPCC on the online form and they immediately said they would call.

They didn't even say "may we call you?"

The will writing service may or may not be ok but that is not the point.

Following your response: I suggest you follow the “online” process, choose NSPCC and you’ll see it moves straight to phone contact. I’ve told you that in my email response to Mackenzy Goodwin - of course no reply from him.

A simple apology and “we messed up” would have been a better response.

We offer a few ways of writing your will - online, over the phone and video or in person. Our online journey can be completed without speaking to one of our team, but the offline journeys do require us to understand your situation before booking an appointment with one of our consultants.

If you'd rather complete everything online with NSPCC, you can do that here: https://octopuslegacy.com/online-will?utm_campaign=nspccfree, just choose the online option when you're asked how you'd like to write your will, and there's no need for a call at all.

Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely brilliant. The communication was clear and fast. I had no clue how to go about most of omit but it was made very simple.really impressed. I would resort anyone to go through Octopus to do their will.
