Quality does not match cost

Let's start with positives. They had a nice black friday discount compared to their normal prices, order was without problems, free shipping and fast delivery even when I picked slow and free delivery.

I ordered some interior parts for BMW E31, it would be ok for finish to not match OEM one if they sell all the parts as kit or if they sell it for appropriate price for finish they are providing and WARN people before purchase. I would not care about this for standalone parts separated from other ones, finish would be close enough, but when I have switch cover that should click into center console and they don't match it's a problem. So I have brand new OEM parts from bmw which were still available- center console with right switch cover and then left one with gearshift cover from octoclassics. See for yourself and decide:

Also brand new OEM right switch cover with much higher quality costed me 11euro in dealer. I paid 48e for discounted octoclassics left one and they ask 70 euro when there is not discount for what looks like 3d printed part with spray finish. So cool I don't need to make 3d model and print it myself but I need to rework their finish so it matches OEM one and doesn't bother me. I would not call this 70euro part.
I'm not happy, I'm not sad, I'm just disappointed.

For transparency I didn't contact them about this, looks like it doesn't make sense when I'm reading other problematic reviews as I don't want to return the parts that are NLA at dealer and I will work on them to make them fit, I just think they are not worth the money they are asking.

When you think you finally found that u available piece

Just when you think you've finally found that out-of-stock plastic part for your classic car, you stumble upon Octoclassic. If you try to order it, it's only possible with Visa, no PayPal or anything like that. The reasons are obvious! In my case, my Alfa Romeo Spider is finished in an ugly 3D material that's very brittle and doesn't resemble the at the original plastic at all in terms of gloss and shine! If you send it back to Poland, you'll pay a lot of postage from Belgium (the company claims to be in London), and then they claim they never received the returned parts! So, i lost more money then i spend! Phone calls and other inquiries don't help! This company is absolutely to be avoided!

Porsche 944 Rear Wiper Nut Cover

I had been looking all over for the 3rd…

I had been looking all over for the 3rd Brake Light assembly for my 2001 Jaguar XJ 8 with no luck. All I could find were used ones that were cracked and faded. Luckily I can across Octoclassis. They had a replacement that they make with a 3d printer and you can even choose your color. The part fit like an OEM replacement. They saved the day! 😬

Poor Service and bad attitude.

I placed an order for 2 speaker grilles for a 1994 Range Rover. When they arrived I was surprised at the poor finish and quality.
I sent pictures of the clearly defective items and was advised that they hadn’t been quality checked properly. I would say there isn’t any quality checking at all.
I was told that replacements would be sent out. It’s now 3 weeks since I complained, having waited 4 weeks for the original order.
The website is not clear that you are buying from Poland and that the company does not include import tax (unlike reputable companies).
When I challenged why it’s taking so long for the replacement to arrive I was told that it because the UK left the EU. The real reason is that Octoclassic chose not to expedite the order.
Separately, I noticed that they offered a 20% discount on my part a week after I paid full price. I sent a polite email asking if they would honour that discount on my order based on the fact that my order had not been fulfilled. They said no.
Poor attitude and poor service.

As soon as you informed us that you were not satisfied with the first shipment, we took responsibility and arranged a replacement part for you at no additional cost.

Your replacement parcel is already on its way. The delivery is progressing within the standard timeframe – we do not have influence over the speed of the courier or customs clearance. This is the normal process for all international shipments.

Great 3D-printed car parts

The company produced a brand new, 3D-printed car part for me that was impossible to find online because of the age of the car. This really saved my renovation project and their customer service, particularly from Kamil, was brilliant when I had a query afterwards.

Kamil made all my purchases from OctoClassic very easy. And since my special orders had to be handcrafted for my Mercedes (R129) - he continually kept me informed every week regarding my purchases. The products (burlwood interior pieces) were perfectly crafted and beautiful. Every custom piece fit just right! Not one complaint. And other Mercedes owners ask me where I bought them from. And as far as I know - OctoClassic are the only ones handcrafting these interior pieces for Mercedes. So if you want your Mercedes interior to look more luxurious then stock - then contact OctoClassic! They will upgrade your vehicle with their custom interior pieces. Ordered parts several months ago which…

Ordered parts several months ago which where delivered, no mention of them being based in Poland until you get a customs bill several days after the order.

Parts have been returned as they were incorrectly ordered and now after around 3 months they have arrived back in my desk as they haven’t accepted delivery of the return. We are just after a refund for the purchase as agreed by email before returning them at my expense

Edit: the customer service on this one is awful, the cost of the goods is sub £140 and have been sent to Poland and back for the return with a label saying you don’t claim the package on it, not sure how you can say it’s not been returned.

The cost of the goods to yourself is probably negligible but you won’t move on your set in stone “returns process” even if I have proven they were returned.

One assumes you had some sort of notification of the package as it’s clearly had an attempted delivery and been kept at the Post Office Depot for a period before returning it to the UK. Good customer service would by now have sorted a refund and written off/paid for the postage to return for a second time? As a Bodyshop/restoration business we may have used you again if th in bags had been sorted rather than digging in your heels.

As previously communicated, a refund can only be processed once the returned goods have been received. Unfortunately, this has not happened.

For transparency: the order was processed and shipped shortly after it was placed. We received your request to cancel only after the parcel had already been collected by the courier — at that point, unfortunately, we were unable to stop or recall the shipment.

As explained in our messages, carbon parts are made to order and require a longer lead time (up to 24 working days), which is stated clearly on the product page. We understand this may cause frustration if expectations differ, but we’ve kept you informed throughout and acted according to standard procedure.

Of course, if the parcel is not collected, it will return to us and a refund will be issued in line with our return policy.

We’re always available to assist and resolve matters fairly, but we will not accept threats or misinformation.

Great Service and great product

I must say well done and thank you, would highly recommend Octoclassic based on my experience. I ordered some seat buttons for my Porsche Boxster and the whole transaction from placing the order to receiving the items was fantastic. Great immediate communication, kept updated on shipping (Poland to UK) and item arrived as described and fitted perfectly.

They say parts are so good "even your grandson won’t need to worry about them again"

- Ordered a set of jack cover caps for my R170 Mercedes on December 2
- Received the wrong parts over a month later
- Customer service guy Kamil was quick to answer phone calls and emails. Wrong parts returned at my expense
- Later received the correct parts but while mounting one on my car, it broke (3D printing material they use is far more ridgid than the flexible material the original is made of). The tab that broke off is paper thin
- Contacted Kamil (this was early February), he was quick to reply and promised to re-engineer the part so it was actually fit for purpose
- Returned 3 of the 4 parts (at my expense) as I expected a quick resolution and would return the one that was on my car once it was all resolved
- contacted Kamil for a status on the parts in late April. He was quick to respond. Copied straight from the email: "My friend is still working on something with fixes/corrections, testing various solutions and technologies to make it better, it's hard for me to say how much longer it will take him"
- I contacted him again to stress the fact I have wasted a whole lot of time and my patience was not unlimited. I asked how long Kamil thought it was reasonable for me to wait
- I received no reply and he was no longer answering his phone

If are willing to purchase a car part and wait several months to receive one that is fit for purpose, Octoclassic is for you. Otherwise, give them a pass!

Original R170 jack covers from eBay are roughly the same price per part (and you don't need to buy a full set of four) but as they state on their website "even your grandson won’t need to worry about them again". So it all sounded good to me. It wasn't.

Note: Octoclassic is still selling this part despite acknowledging the defect in design. I would guess the same part for other Mercedes models suffer from the same defect. All the Mercedes I own would have the same flaw unless Octoclassic has enhanced the design as they had promised me they would do R170.

Good customer service

Good store interface, fast part manufacture and shipping. Part was found not fitting as should. Part was not a straight copy from my original part and was created from a more general design. Customer service was quick to respond and we resolved the issue with 100% satisfaction. I was in a hurry to finish the project and got a replacement elsewhere.
