I think your readers deserve to know…
I think your readers deserve to know some clear truths about this company. First: Unlike most mystery shop companies, this company mostly pays its shoppers in groupons rather than in cash. If the proffered reward is $60 for a shop, $50 might be tendered as groupons. My own experience was that every groupon offered was to a business I have never heard of or seen in 45 years of living in our city. Second: I found that the company was unresponsive to my inquiries and that the only way I could contact anyone was to login thru their portal. In other words, unless you are a paid member they will not answer questions. My wife and I have done literally thousands of mystery shops for half a dozen companies. When we had a question before doing our first shop for observati, we were unable to get an answer from the staff. When they did answer, I felt like the answer was smart-mouthed and demeaning.
They suckered me into both the stickr…
They suckered me into both the stickr advertising campaign and signing up to be a reviewer and the experience has been subpar to say the least. The membership fees I paid were far more then ever made and I basically feel like they conned me
I enjoyed the secret shop experience!
I enjoyed the secret shop experience! The food was delicious. The service was great. I submitted my review and now I am waiting anxiously to see the approval.
I am excited about doing my second secret shop.
Thank you,
Lorrie
It's nice to know a company cares so…
It's nice to know a company cares so much! I have just started working for Observati, haven't even reviewed my first restaurant but they are concerned with my satisfaction and for that I'm grateful. I'm grateful to be working for a caring company, I will have to update after my first restaurant review but so far so good!
Miller's
A nice looking place outside and inside. I waited to be seated as the sign at the door asked but I got tired of waiting and went into the bar area. The formal dining area appeared closed. Service was a bit slow as there were only a waitress and a bartender visible. There were at least 15 people present. Eight of them appeared to be attending a birthday party. The place was extremely clean looking and well kept up. The bartender took my drink order which was beer. While I sat contemplating what to order for a late lunch I watched the staff and the bartender appeared to be doing the drink and food serving also. The waitress appeared a couple of times with food for some of the patros. Finally got enough courage to ask for a menu and a change of seats which the bartender gracely attended to. Changed seats to a table and ordered an appetizer and a sandwich with soup. The staff appeared to know most of the customers and the were very cordial to all. In no time my appetizer appeared and it was just what I ordered, bacon wrapped shrimp and I found it tasty. Before I was halfway through with my appetizer my sandwich and soup arrived by the bartender. I think because it was in between lunch and dinner the staff was on the small size. I had ordered a Reuben sandwich with soup. The soup appeared and tasted like a french creamy potato soup. Neither the sandwich nor the soup had any particular taste. Rather bland, but the is the Midwest touch. I enjoyed the appetizer and the sandwich and soup. Would like to try the restaurant again at dinner.
Simple and easy
They explain everything and it’s a very simple onboarding process.

Hey there Jakob
Hey there Jakob, how's it going?
My name is Armando Reyes.
I just wanted to get back with you to let you know how my experience has been in regards to working with some of the Observaty Customer Service Team.
I'm not not sure who all has been helping me out but one name that does pop out is "Victoria". The reason I say that is because I've have nothing but good things to say about her Customer Service. She has been very kind, courteous and very, very helpful. I'm a 64 year old man and I taught myself how to use the computer so I'm just familiar with the very basics and Victoria was so kind and patient with me by sending me emails with step by step instructions on the signup / registration process as well as Restaurant Review Examples. She has help make my introduction process so much more enjoyable and like I mentioned to her, "I believe I'm now ready to go out there and get "Fat" now eating all of that good 'Ol restaurant food. "YUMMY"
Never Arrived - Still waiting for Customer Services
Product said delivered but never arrived. I have chased for a response from Sampti for over One Month now and they haven't had the common decency to even reply.
Not impressed - don't spend your money because if you need customer service, it doesn't exist!
Observati and Their Shopper
Observati is a company that is very informative in explaining the tasks involved in shopping and writing a review (once you start to write the review). Emails to the shopper were received within a short period of time. The employees at Observati are also pleasant
in their emails.

Cake Walk Eating Fun!
I'm so very grateful for having the opportunity to be working with a Observati! My questions or concerns are always answered promptly, with easy to follow instructions. I love being compensated for enjoying great food. My food budget has some extra cushion which is so helpful! This single mom Was struggling for extra cash and something fun to go do. Observati makes dining out a cake Walk to afford and literally profit from. You have options for upgrading your membership for better commissions, giftcards & dining frequency of premium restaurants. I highly recommend this company.
New participant, Nothing has worked right
New participant, Nothing has worked right.
I signed up the beginning of March. I submitted my first Job Review on March 14th. Someone on their end performs a review on your submitted Job Review. You cannot request a new job until their review is completed. As of today, 4/3/25, their review is still uncompleted.
They don’t respond on their in App Chat Tool. I’ve sent a couple emails in the past 14 days, and received apologetic responses and that say they’ll look into its status. Never hear back, so I submit another email inquiry. The cycle repeats.
At this rate, working with them looks to be more of a PITA than any useful benefit.
Easy to use and better with one small tweak
I have only done one review so far and it was pretty easy. The biggest problem I faced was that if you didn’t sit down and do the entire review all at once, you would have to start over again at the first question. There should be a way to hold you spot in the review if you have to leave the page for another app or something or if you have to go do another task and then come back to your device to finish. It’s frustrating to have gone through the entire review multiple times because I lost my place in the survey.
AWESOME!
I came upon Observati here this past week and I have to say so far so good . I will do my review tomorrow at a local restaurant (that I suggested..and yes they did accept my request..which I thought was awesome! Stay tuned I will review again when I get paid! Thanks Observati!

So far so good, i haven't ate anywhere yet so I'm not sure how the reviews are but we shall see.
