I completed multiple jobs for this company as instructed through one of their agents. At no point was I provided with any company policy, terms and conditions, or informed that they would deduct a percentage from my invoices.
The first invoice was paid in full. However, on the second invoice they deducted approximately 17%, and on the third they deducted 25%. When I raised my concerns with their agent, I was told that he would resolve the matter, as he had not informed me beforehand that the company deducts up to 25% from contractor invoices.
Despite this, I continued to carry out further jobs for them in good faith. My invoices included both labour and material costs, yet they applied deductions to the full invoice amount, including the cost of materials, which I believe is completely unreasonable.
In addition, several invoices remain unpaid altogether. There has been a long chain of emails back and forth, but each time a different person responds without properly understanding the history of the case. To date, they still owe my company over £1,200, and they continue to refuse payment while insisting that the 25% deduction is mandatory, even though there was never any signed contract or formal agreement between us regarding such deductions.
If any other tradespeople or contractors have experienced similar issues with this company and would be willing to take legal action, I would be very interested in speaking with you. It may be beneficial for us to pursue this collectively and strengthen our case.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise any contractor or tradesperson to be extremely cautious before accepting work from this company. They often use platforms such as MyBuilder and other contractor apps to source tradespeople, so please ensure you have clear written terms and payment agreements before undertaking any work.

Could not have been more helpful! We had a totally broken lock on the door to our house where we could not open it. Within a couple hours the lock was replaced and we were all set. We got updates along the way and they were very responsive. Highly recommend!
lock was broken, maintenance man arrived within 3 hours in the evening and gave us a new lock and latch so we were able to stay in the house overnight, as we wouldn’t have been able to stay if it hadn’t have been fixed :)
