Just watched one of their employees involved in road rage. Exited his vehicle wanting to fight the other driver. Wouldn’t use the company if this is how they behave.
Three times now my husband has taken a half day off work ( unpaid ) but no one has been bothered to turn up. Not even a txt or phone call that they can’t make it. Extremely unprofessional.
Now trying to phone them am passed from one department to another. Listened to ring tone for 10 minutes. Had enough.
Ok,this is a terrible company, service may be down to who they subcontract out to, but have made 3 appointments for a electric test, the 1st two the engineer comes in the the morning after appointment was for the afternoon, and today the 3rd appointment is afternoon, but having actually taken a day off work because I didn’t trust this company to fore feel the afternoon, they haven’t shown up at all, and after receiving letters if we can’t gain access we will act with solicitors to gain access and you will have to pay the £800 court costs, what a absolute joke.
Oakray took over Solar power system customer base from Iddea. So we were not sure what type of help we could expect. We had a fault that our battery would not discharge to our house. Phones were answered promptly and we contacted Brad who took over our ownership of our problem from start to finish. Our system is now working fine. Thank you Brad for your help in solving the fault in liaising with Givenergy to islolate the problem; well done.
Absolute cowboys of employees you have who are clueless and leave residents in danger specially disabled and serious health issues.
You left us with no hot water over the weekend 2 weeks ago and a so called engineer came on a Sunday evening 7pm no tools in his hand went boiler then went up stairs to the tank and turned the Emerson heater on and turned up the boiler control and said everything was ok.
I go to use the hot water 1 hour later as I have to wash and shower several times a day because of bowel and bladder issues and where turned so high I burnt my hand and the temperature on the boiler said 76 degrees.
Same engineer came out on the Monday to turn it down and left and still didn’t.
On the weds 28TH May Paul came done a gas safety check said it was all done and left.
Went to use the hot water to wash he only gone and left the boiler switched off so I turn it on by the mains and get an error code F28
So phoned up said what code we have and no hot water so again left with none till the next day.
The same engineer who been out 3 times previous to this comes do the job said some kids must of turned the gas main out side so in denial of there incompetence so he he said he sorts it out but again he turns everything up and water scalding and boiler saying 72 this time
So call up the next day the supervisor came out and said yeah need new thermostat and a valve so from the start this should have been picked up and sorted and not 2 weeks later.
Your employees need to go and do there retest get the certificates because they must of got it of a Kelloggs box.
Your employees left us in danger and no hot water and also caused a burn to my hand and you are in denial and lied to our housing who was investigating it.
I do not want them 2 cow boys again in our house that Paul and the foreign one
Also will be taking this further and I will add photos as well because people need to know how poor and how your employees act and having to google what to do as well is a scary thing.
I have nothing to hide and this is the truth as well and you know this and fact taken 6 visits and still not going to be done till next week
Received a letter from Oakray advising they need access to my flat to carry works.
What works?
Letter gives no detailed information. Commutation is lost with Oakray.
Amazing company to work for, the whole environment feels like a family. Left and return
We experienced a power cut late on Thursday, which caused a fault on our inverter. I left a message with Brad Hayden at Oakray, saying that this fault had occurred. He rang early the next morning that he had worked with GivEnergy on the system, and all should be fine. I checked it when I got in and it was working perfectly. Many thanks!
Absolute shambles. Open ended gas pipes when gas engineer came to fire up the boiler. Excuses and fingers pointed to others. Whilst decorating we had to have holes cut into walls to rectify, and pipes re routed in kitchen. Faulty pump changed in airing cupboard, and left leaking heavily for quite some time. Central heating purged and radiators bled, though one radiator left open, and once water started circulating water was spraying out all over newly decorated walls. both these leaks now causing damage below in kitchen and lounge, water running down into light switches. Luckily partner spotted it before leaving that night. otherwise she would of had no ceilings following morning.
Engineer clearly not trained and up to the task. but then texting and calling my partner privately begging for us to not file a complaint as he was desperate for his job. 3 weeks of hell! and the sage continues
The receptionist is intentionally disruptive and dishonest. Agrees appointments, then sends letters with altered times and dates. Doesn’t like being called out on this, but still does it. She won’t give her name for me to make a formal complaint, lacks social skills.
Missed the boiler wasn't actually connected to the flue pipe. On three occasions, and that's just while I've been here in the last year. My airing cupboard must have had monoxide in everytime I ran the hot water or heating.
Only now aware because door was open when I was running the water recently and set alarm off. Don't know how much has seeped out in last 16 months.
Worst heating company ever. Arrogant, rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, demanding, threatening. Awful people.
The gas engineer was polite and skillful. He fixed the problem swiftly and cleaned the surface area.
This company needs to.address older pensioners with respect and kindness and a understanding that we may not be able to operate digital thermostats I feel we get left behind it's not right.
