New Treadmill product

I recently ordered a new item being promoted by this company - the treadmill. Whilst there were some communication difficulties early on the treadmill duly arrived. It was well packed and came complete with full instructions and a lubrication kit for future use. The operation of the treadmill is easy and there is a good range of speed options and a visual information display, resulting for me in an ideal addition to my well being whilst working at the desk. For the moment I am finding reading material on my screen the most practical work task.

Great desk

Great desk — I have the 180cm solid oak standing desk and the build quality is excellent. It feels extremely solid and well made, both in terms of the wood and the mechanism.

I was also very impressed with the customer service. When I had an issue, the team was quick, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Even though it was outside of warranty, they arranged everything and replaced the necessary parts free of charge.

Overall, a great product backed by a team that really stands behind it.

Great experience with OAKO Denmark. The oak table looks beautiful, the quality feels very solid, and the craftsmanship is excellent. Simple, elegant design and smooth communication. Very happy with the purchase.

Possible the worst customer service…

Possible the worst customer service ever. I made a simple order for a chair and they kept moving the delivery date. It took 3 months to receive the chair. The chair itself has a comfortable seat, but otherwise feels low quality with hard edges and cheap plastic for arm support. They never reached out to me to provide any news or status updates, I always had to initiate the contact and they would often ignore my messages. Whenever they set a new delivery date and exceeded it I had to get a hold of them, which could take several days, only for them to promise a new delivery date that wasn't going to get met. I do not recommend this company.

You’re absolutely right that the delivery took longer than expected, and that we should have communicated more proactively throughout the process. That is something we take seriously and have already worked on improving internally.
To provide a bit of context, the delay was caused by multiple missed parcel collections by the courier despite confirmed bookings. While this was outside of our direct control, we fully understand that the experience still reflects on us.
I’m glad to hear that the chair itself is comfortable, and I’m sorry that other elements did not meet your expectations.
As part of resolving the situation, we reimbursed the full shipping cost and ensured the delivery was completed.

Refund never received

The desk I ordered was picked up for return in September 2025, but I have still not received my refund as of February 2026.

I was in contact with customer service until December 2026 when they told me the refund had not gone through and asked me to share my bank details again (which have remained the same since the purchase). I shared my information, but I have not heard anything since. I sent multiple follow-up emails and used the contact form on their website, but received no response. When I call their phone number, it goes to voicemail automatically.

The experience has been really disappointing. The shipment date of the desk kept being pushed back. When it finally arrived 14 weeks after ordering it (instead of within 7 weeks as mentioned on the website at the time), there was an issue with the finishing. The return process took a long time, but the customer service was friendly, so I thought it would get sorted eventually. But now I am really worried I will never receive my refund.

Exceptionally Made Bespoke Desks

Updated review:
Standing desk now received and it really is made wonderfully. The finish is to a very high standard and the desk frame is good with an updated control panel (with one touch standing and sitting options), although slightly wobbly when standing, as noticed by others.

This is a small family run company which means you get a well-made unique desk which is finished to an exceptional standard (hence the 5 stars), but expect it to take 2-3 months from order to delivery (the provided delivery estimates are really not accurate in my experience).

Great quality

Really happy with the desk quality and the customer service. The wait was a little longer than I expected, but totally worth it for a made-to-order piece. Plus, customer service was quick to respond whenever I had questions. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended; great product quality and friendly servivce

It's rare to find a business who cares about their customers.

While delivery time is longer than larger brands. They were transparently upfront about it and their tracking was top notch.

They went the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed for my setup and non-standard delivery locations.

The natural oak look of the desk is gorgeous. Gives it real character. Build quality is 10/10. Even at 130cm standing height. There is no wobble problems.

I would rate this desk even over brands like Herman Miller.

Beautifully made desk and excellent service

I recently bought the Artic Alive Oak Standing Desk from OakO Denmark, and I’m genuinely very pleased with it. The quality is excellent, the oak surface has a beautiful, natural finish, and the whole desk feels solid and well-made. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into both the design and the craftsmanship.

The desk arrived extremely well packed and in perfect condition. Everything was clearly labelled and easy to assemble, and the result looks even better in person than it did in the photos. The attention to detail really stands out.

The customer service was also first-class. The team was easy to contact, quick to reply, and genuinely friendly throughout the process. My order took just a day or two longer than expected, but they kept me informed all along and were very transparent and kind about it.

It’s worth noting that OakO doesn’t keep much stock, so delivery can take the full lead time, but it’s absolutely worth waiting for. The desk is beautiful, solid, and clearly built to last.

All in all, a great product and a very positive experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Quality — But Be Ready for a Long Wait

Unfortunately, I had similar experiences with delivery after placing my order, like some other users here. I ordered mine back in June and had to inquire multiple times about the expected delivery. I received many promises that it was in its finishing touches and would soon be dispatched. Four months later, I finally received my desk!

Initially, I wanted to give a one-star review due to the terrible delivery experience, but I must admit that the desk and accessories are of very good quality and look fantastic. If you are willing to wait up to six months for delivery, I do recommend OAKO desks!

Oako asked for a review

Oako asked for a review, so here it is. To note: I ordered the OAKO dining table in size 180cm. When I first ordered it, I was a bit nervous because I wanted a small custom tweak to better fit my dining room space. I wasn’t sure if they could accommodate it, but their customer service team was super. They walked me through the posibilities and made sure everything would work perfectly, which really took the stress off.

The table itself is absolutely gorgeous. The craftsmanship is great, and it’s clear that a lot of care went into every detail. It fits my dining room perfectly now, and it honestly feels like it was made just for this space.

Big thumbs up to OAKO for not only a stunning table but also a customer team that really cares about making sure everything goes smoothly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new statement piece for your dining room.

Radio silence after paid invoice

I ordered mid-july and haven't heard anything since. They don't respond to emails, they have removed chat from their website (which they didn't respond to anyway), they don't answer phone calls. I have no idea what's happening to my order.

UPDATE: I did eventually get a response, and have now received my desk. The quality of the desk is excellent and it looks great. I updated my score to reflect that. I wish their communication was better though, as I'm sure people can accept and understand delays as long as they're being informed about it. At one point I was genuinely wondering if I got scammed.

Anyway, I'm rooting for them as they clearly make great desks!

Good desk but received it after 6 months.

After receiving the desk, I am quite happy with the quality of the product. My only issue is that it woggles quite a bit, though I guess it's expected from a two legged desk.

Overall, everything would have been better if I was told upfront that it would be 6 months of waiting. I was not in a rush.

I have been getting a similar experience as the most recent reviews.
I ordered my desk in May and I still haven't received it. It has been stuck in "finishing touches" for I don't know how long. I have heard many excuses, from "we are looking for a deliverer", the "wood is drying" (mind you, they told me that after they said desk is ready to ship), it's "dispatching next week", and more.
They have removed the help chat from their website which I presume is because they haven't been able to deliver a single order since at least May and are getting bombarded with people asking for explanation.

I have ordered a desk in May and until…

UPDATE: I have updated my review now (from 1 to 4 stars). The desk was delivered and is really beautiful. It was also fairly easy to assemble and everything is working as it should. Once I got in contact with the team, the communication has also been working well and they really put in an effort to keep me updated.

I have ordered a desk in May and until this day the product has not been delivered. I have repeatedly reached out to customer service and asked about when they would deliver and so far their promises to send "soon" or "dispatch next week" have been nothing but empty promises. The order status has been saying "finishing touches" for two months now. I don't like giving bad reviews but I think everyone who is ordering with them should be aware that their delivery times seem to be very inconsistent.

Good but long wait

I previously bought a desk with them and I was really happy with the quality of the desk and the customer service.

Now I ordered another one, made a mistake so cancelled it and made a new order.

That was 1.5 months ago from now. I still have not received a refund even though I already mailed them about it, they were going to check and come back to me. Didn't hear anything...

Also been asking for an invoice for the correct order, also no response for so long already

Haven't had updates about the desk either, it's being made is the only thing I heard, about a month ago

I'm thinking of opening a case via my credit card company cause this is getting ridiculous.

Trying to reach them on this platform is my last hope before I do so

Update:
Received the packages for my desk, will further update when it's built but I expect the same quality as my first desk. The customer support has improved by the end

Update 2:
A few things of the desk have changed - improved in quality compared to my first one. When getting the cable tray make sure the get the "pro" variant for easier access.

Took a while but I'm happy with the order
I’d say 4/5 for quality and service but -1 for the long waiting and lack of transparency around the waiting

Gorgeous desks

I got an oak desk from Oako last January. The quality is amazing and delivery was reasonably fast. Customer service was also great, I had to reach out to ask some assembly related questions and they were super responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

Great product. Need to communicate more though.

Update 30/08/25. - desk has now been delivered and the quality is exceptional so I have updated my score. They would have five stars if it was not for the delays and lack of communication. A piece of advice to all businesses, if you have delays just let people know, as the lack of correspondence just makes people think there is an issue.

It’s now been 4 Months (70 business days) which is over their maximum delivery of 25 to 35 days, and no table or despatch date. There has been no proactive communication, I only get a response when I chase and it’s always an excuse. They move it on a stage but then still nothing. Having done some digging it seems I am not the only one, but they keep removing bad reviews, so more people are being duped. They have had nearly £1000 from me and nothing. So now taking legal action. I imagine this review is going to get removed like they have done with all the rest.

So I ordered a table from OAKO in…

So I ordered a table from OAKO in December and despite it being delivered 3 months later, Anete and the team has been incredibly supportive and responsive. I also got a desk pad as a gift for the delayed delivery. Yes there were frustrations along the way but the table is absolutely worth and stunning! 5 stars despite the hurdle as this is meant for long time use!

The desk's craftsmanship and quality beyond my expectations. The desk feels really substantial, and the thick wood is lovely. This product was obviously made with a great deal of care.
