I ordered the Oakcastle DVD100 from Amazon.

I ordered the Oakcastle DVD100 from Amazon. Mostly because of the price and great reviews. I had been using the ONN dvd players from WalMart with absolutely no luck. After a few weeks, they started skipping, pausing and no way to continue, not only skipping, but going from one scene to another. After spending enough time and money on these WalMart pieces of junk, I decided to try a different brand and found the Oakcastle on Amazon and decided to try it for the price. The player has great picture quality and after using it for about a month have had no issues with the player. I had some issues with the remote and contacted the seller. After giving them my purchase info from Amazon, they are sending me another remote. They were professional and had no problems with them. At this point in time I would recommend giving them a try. Can't beat it for the cost!

Excellent company to deal with

Excellent company to deal with. Bought a portable cd player which is a quality product. I had a minor problem and sought advice. Advice was recieved promptly and problem resolved. I will be buying again from Oakcastle in the future. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic little dvd player. 3 year warranty for £25. My hdmi cable that came with unit didn't work. So used my own. Contacted customer service at oak castle. They couldn't do enough for me. Sent out a new cable. Thanks..

The customer service experience was excellent!

The customer service experience was excellent!
Both courteous and prompt.
Following a fault with the CD component on the music centre, Oakcastle tried to help rectify but then sent a replacement which works fine.
Happy to recommend this company!

CD100 CD player purchased from Tesco…

CD100 CD player purchased from Tesco Direct, to connect to my Car Audio. Unit is compact, but provides quality sound, connection flexibility (Bluetooth,USB,& Auxiliary cable).The unit is very practical and mobile with inbuilt rechargeable batteries. What's not to like!! Well done Oakcastle.

A small fry issue for Oakcastle - but they listened

A small fry issue for Oakcastle I am sure, but they responded to my email within hours.
The advice provided was clear and effective, curing the lack of connection btewwn my remotes volume control and the soundbar.
(A soundbar which has improved the sound quality from the smal TV in my kitchen immeasurably)

I purchased an Oakcastle digital radio…

I purchased an Oakcastle digital radio / cd player in December 2024 and recently had an error message appear, which meant I couldn't use it.

I contacted Oakcastle customer service and the wonderful Josh helped me sort it out. The speed, courtesy and helpfulness of his messages were impressive. I was able to follow his instructions and now have a working radio and cd player again.

I highly recommend this company for the quality of their products and the exceptional customer service.

Had a problem with Dab radio sticking…

Had a problem with Dab radio sticking at " waiting for PC wizard" got in touch & received great support from them sending me software instructions, they also emailed to check i got on okay. Great sounding dab & thankfully working great now.

This unit worked perfectly for about a year until I had an error message. I emailed Tech Support and Josh helped me to perform a software upgrade. The unit is now functioning normally.

Excellent customer service

I brought my husband an Oakcastle music system for his birthday which he has used every day. Lately the unit has been showing an error message. I emailed "Oakcastle" for assistance. The agents were polite & helpful. They quickly identified the problem and offered assistance by way of an upgrade link and step by step instructions. They checked back with us to make sure things were working correctly.
Very polite, professional staff. Can't thank them enough for all their help and support

In car CD player

I was trying to find a suitable portable CD player for my new car (they don't come with CD players any more!). Oakcastle answered all my questions about compatability and the CD 100 works great via Bluetooth now through the car's audio system. Great service, reliable and UK based.

Exceptional customer service!

What can I say about these guys - exceptional customer service! I was trying to order one of their CD100 units for a Christmas present - out of stock everywhere. Contacted their customer service department & they were so helpful. They gave me a timeline for when stock would be available again & even dropped me an email just before stock started going out to stores. They really couldn’t have been more helpful. I can not thank them enough for their help & would certainly recommend them to family & friends.

CD 150 CD Player

For the price, the Oakcastle CD-150 is a solid little player, but it has a few quirks. The battery life seems a bit optimistic; while it's advertised for longer, I found it only manages about 3 CDs before needing a recharge—I suspect the higher 'play time' figure is based on FM radio use rather than the power-hungry CD motor.​Sound-wise, the volume steps are a bit odd. Settings 1 and 2 are surprisingly loud (not ideal for quiet background listening), and once you crank it up higher, the speakers start to distort quite a bit. Finally, the display is a letdown as it doesn't show the track number, making it hard to navigate through an album. That said, if you can live with these small issues, it’s a decent, budget-friendly choice for a basic player.
