AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
If I could give this bunch a zero rating I would. It took 11 weeks (August 23rd to November 7) for them to deliver the metal bed frame we ordered. When it finally arrived and we unpacked it, one headboard leg was bent. There were also 3 items that were essential to assembly that were missing.
The customer service rep I spoke to - and I use that term in the loosest possible sense - was the singularly most unhelpful person I've had the misfortune to deal with. He didn't get off to the best start by insisting they weren't responsible for the condition of the bed when it arrived, because it had been shipped directly from the manufacturer, who therefore had direct responsibility for its safe arrival. For everyone's benefit - including the obviously ignorant rep I spoke to - under UK consumer law, your contract is with the person or business that sells you goods or services, not with a third party. In this case, this shabby outfit is responsible for my satisfaction, not the manufacturer.
I told this person that I could make the bed work (by modifying the frame) but that I would be seeking a partial refund.
His response was that they didn't 'do refunds, partial or otherwise' - clearly utter nonsense, as he later contradicted himself by saying they'd collect the bed and issue a full refund once they had received it.
Based on my experience of their logistics lead times, this would leave me waiting until the end of January at the earliest for a refund.
Issuing a partial refund would have left both of us leaving the conversation feeling satisfied and made this review very different, but when I pressed the issue, he said they 'couldn't' issue a partial refund. Again - utter nonsense. The truth is they choose not to help their customers.
Avoid this company. They are merely an intermediary whose interest lies only in taking your money, and not in ensuring their customers get the value they might reasonably expect.
