Kept informed of items arriving through different countries, (I live in the UK), items well packaged, & arrived fast.

I pre-ordered Beyond the Black last album in last July. I hoped I will receive it on the release day. It released on 9th January. Now it's 16th January, and the items still hasn't arrived. By the tarcking info the package was shipped on 14th Jan (after 5 days of release!). If I go to a random CD shop, I could by it earlier than if it's preordered!

Terrible customer service and order fulfillment.
They couldn’t ship my order for six months, and when it finally arrived, it was only about 80% complete.

I waited all this time and ended up without the item I actually ordered — and now it’s only available from scalpers for a much higher price than what I originally paid.

They reply to messages only occasionally, and often just ignore the real issues and leave problems unresolved.

A pre-order arrived damaged. After receiving great customer service from a previous order, I expected the same for this order. Unfortunately, my complaint fell on deaf ears. Just when I had given up the ghost, Nuclear Blast contacted me highly apologetic and, after sending them the evidence of the damage, I was issued a full refund and further apologies to being unable to replace the item, due to limited stock.
The customer service may have been a little slow but the final outcome has restored my faith in this company. Thank you!

The order took a very long time, and I tried to contact them by email but never received a response. I thought I had lost my money because there was no reply and no way to get in touch.

I’ve been a metal fan since the early 2000s and over the years I’ve ordered a lot of band merchandise, especially T-shirts. I honestly have to say that the quality of Nuclear Blast merchandise, particularly the T-shirts, has declined significantly in recent years.

The print itself seems fine so far, although it will only really show how good it is after multiple washes. What bothered and irritated me the most is the quality of the shirts themselves. I clearly remember a time when your T-shirts were thick, robust and high quality. You could easily wear them for many years. Nowadays, the fabric quality has become so poor that it’s frankly no longer acceptable.

I understand that everything has become more expensive and that keeping prices at a certain level inevitably affects fabric quality. To reach the same quality as 20 years ago, a T-shirt would probably have to cost around 40–50 € at retail, which I’m aware is difficult. That said, we’ve now reached a point where the shirts are so thin that you seriously wonder whether they’ll survive the very first wash. The fabric feels almost like tissue paper. I’ve noticed this trend not only at Nuclear Blast, but unfortunately at other manufacturers as well.

In my recent order, I paid almost 25 € for one T-shirt. In my opinion, that’s a lot of money for a shirt. When I unpacked it, I immediately noticed that one sleeve seam was already torn, with a clearly visible hole several centimeters long along the upper seam. That raises the question of whether there are any proper quality checks in place, either at Nuclear Blast or at the manufacturing facility.

If I had wanted to return the shirt, I would have had to pay additional shipping costs, since there is no free return option. I would then have had to reorder the same shirt and pay shipping again, meaning another 10–15 € on top, solely because of a clear manufacturing defect and insufficient quality control on your side. That felt unreasonable to me, so I ended up sewing the hole myself with needle and thread. I just hope it will survive at least the next few washes.

Up until now, I’ve always been very satisfied with Nuclear Blast. In my early twenties, I bought a lot of merchandise from you and was always happy with the quality. After a long break, I ordered from you again and I’m honestly very disappointed with what you’re offering now. This really shouldn’t be the standard.

I can hardly imagine that I’m the only customer who feels this way, and I assume complaints like this reach you more often. Please take this feedback seriously and address it internally. If the quality doesn’t improve, I personally see no reason to continue ordering merchandise from you in the future.

Ever since you have started to use UPS as your carrier for deliveries outside of the EU the Cost has Increased and the Quality has Decreased (3 x CD Cases Damaged). While the speed of delivery may have improved dramatically, customers like myself would prefer a more economical carrier that takes a little longer to deliver an order without the goods being damaged.
Your competitor NAPALM Records charges: Shipping & Handling €29.99 and uses VERSAND Standard Mail.

I asked for a refund, it has been more than 7 weeks and I haven't got my $200 refunded. I reached out to a representative & they said they haven't yet received it.

Today is December 28th, I made an order on November 30th, which gives plenty of time to get my order in time for christmas, but it is not the case apparentyl.
The issue with them is that you can order things that they don't have in stock. And when it happens, no one does anything about it until you contact their customer support. I did it pretty quickly because it happened to me once on the past. But it took them 9 days to reply.
I understand Christmas is a busy time of the year but that is not an excuse.
The parcel was created on Dec 18th, but it took another 4 days for it to leave their premises. Now we are Dec 28th and the parcel is on its way to France. Maybe I'll get in in 2025? Who knows.

I love their site, they offer a lot of cool items, but in this case, the way they manage orders is just unprofessionnal.

I like the site because there is a choice! I ordered from France. The package took some time to arrive but I got it and I am happy with it.

I placed an order on 10.11.2025, no. 75209, which has not yet been shipped and I don't know anything about what is happening!

At first I was scared that it was dropshipping but it's not! The delivery was fast, the t-shirt are official merch and of good quality. Highly recommend !

I’ve been requesting assistance for 10 days and have only received an automated response (“Our customer service team is working hard to respond to all requests as quickly as possible”)
Absolutely unprofessional.

The products are specific, and "Nuclear Blast GmbH" holds quite some cult-band-merch, which I find very great, and often hard to find else where.

In a recent order, I was a bit disapointed, that the t-shirt i ordered suddely was not available anymore, or out of stock (but if I understood correctly the issue with that was with the production-site else-where). However, I received quick responses to my questions, and quick refunds without any delay or discussion. and this was much apprechiated.

I ordered several vinyl records, some of which were pre-orders. The release date has been postponed several times. I requested to cancel the order for the records that weren't pre-orders, and they cancelled the pre-orders. I've been writing to customer service for over a month and haven't received a response. I don't think this should be called "customer service" because I can't get a reply. I will never buy from this store again.
