NRG Transportation

Andrew Kane has a really cute voice and is very helpfull

Daniel Jackson did a great job dispatching my order. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the process, which made everything smooth and efficient. Highly recommend his service.

Very good experience .Good price . Reliable transportation .Good communication.

I worked with Daniel Jackson at NRG, and he did an excellent job shipping my car. I had tried working with other companies before, but they all caused problems.

Daniel, however, was honest, reliable, and extremely helpful with both the price and the pickup/delivery times. Everything went smoothly, and the best part is they didn’t ask for any upfront payment.

The whole process was stress-free, and I’m very satisfied with their service. I 100% recommend NRG — especially Daniel — if you need to ship your car. I will definitely work with them again!

"Excellent service from Andrew Kane"

Daniel was very helpful in the process of shipping my vehicle for the first time from Colorado to Florida… I can guarantee NRG is the best way to go!

I received a fair price and the customer service was great with Daniel.

Definitely Bait and Switch. They quoted me a price that was lower than all the rest. I checked with the sales person MANY times to make sure they were all set. On the morning of the move, they contacted me and said the price would be double. The truck they had planned to move my car on wasn't available. Now they had to use a 5 car truck instead of a 9 car truck. All kinds of BS to jack up the price. In the end, I had a deadline and had to pay them. The sales person later told me that all these auto shipping places use the same board to find truckers to move your car. The price will be the same plus or minus $100 to pay the sales person. Don't use any company that doesn't guarantee the price, and don't wait until you have a deadline. Please read all the one star reviews before using this company.

I had a wonderful experience with this car shipment broker company that I used for transporting a Dodge Caliber from San Francisco Bay Area, CA to Denver, CO in September 2025.

I also want to share what I learned from this experience, so that others don’t panic or have false expectations.

When searching for a car transportation solution on the internet, you will very likely find websites (like Shiply etc) that help you advertising your requirements (what car model/year, from/to address, preferred date), so that you can receive quotes. These quotes are not from a transportation or truck company, but from broker companies, like NRG Transportation. The broker company has direct access to the transportation market and, when the shipment date approaches, can search for available trucks.
This means two things: 1) the exact pick-up date is approximate and 2) the actual shipment cost is approximate too.

As a customer, you have basically two options: A) you can go with a big broker company that usually quotes a high price, but it can give the guarantee to respect the pickup date regardless of the shipment cost fluctuations.
B) you can choose a smaller broker company like NRG, that offers at a much cheaper price the same professional service, but with the flexibility that the price may slightly increase and the pickup date change of one or few days. There is also a small risk to find small companies that offer a so-and-so service and sometimes scam customers with quotes that are unreasonably low with the intent of convincing you to pay them some “deposit” amount. Fortunately this was not the case of NRG.

NRG Transportation gave me an initial quote that was quite good compared to the majority of others, but at the same time not awkwardly low. I do not have a rule of thumb, but by looking at other customers experience, I came to the conclusion that a driver can take about 50 cents per mile. So a 2000 miles trip would probably have a base cost around $1000. To such cost, you need to add the commission of the broker company, which could be around 20%, so your total would about $1,200 for 2000 miles. Typically big broker companies would quote these trips around or above $1800 and small companies around or below $1000. These figures are a bit made up, and probably can change in your case. And they are also negotiable and can vary on a daily or weekly basis for the same trip, depending on the demand/availability.

I signed a contract with $0 deposit with NRG about 15 days before the shipment date. The day before the shipment date, Kevin from NRG contacted me and gave me the update that a driver was available but for about 30% more of the initial quote. Still the price was way cheaper than the majority of the other quotes.

The car was picked up at an address at 5 minutes from my home on the promised date and less than 48 hours later was delivered in Denver. The truck company was Tsumada Auto Transport and they provided before/after inspection with online photos and GPS tracking for the full trip.

Overall this was a painless no-stress experience and want to really thank Kevin and his company for the awesome service

Really good services, Contact Daniel. Three cars done for me this week.

SCAM -- $150 rate quoted to move a car 105 miles
Then the price and time started to go up!
There is some board for all drivers to see - like an auction house - my car has a $475 price on & climbing every day! -
as of Two hours ago its now at $750
I never signed a contract and I'm getting text messages of many people waisting their time thinking this is a valid offer

A1 service from Daniel would do business with again

We plan ahead and we had a quote and date for the move ready to go weeks in advance. The week of the move, Daniel from NRG, didn't confirm our Saturday (8/30) move date. we had to constantly ask if someone was coming. Then on the date of the move, Daniel asked us to move the date out. Then he played the bait and switch and said someone could move us for about 30% more than we agreed to. We switched last minute and found a better deal. I would never use this company or Daniel - incredible scam!

LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS, ALL THE POSITIVE ONES ARE FAKE

The first time I used this company, they left me stranded and upcharged me double what I had contractually agreed for the day before my car shipped. It is in their business model. They will call you the day before saying that their car broke down.

The second time I decided to use them was because they said that they would offer me a discount if I deleted my previous negative review. I did and it was a massive mistake. They upcharged me yet again and my car arrived 3 weeks after it was supposed to.

DO NOT USE NRG TRANSPORTATION

Friendly and reliable transportation service from Daniel Jackson.

Daniel Jackson is a very professional and good person

NRG transportation and Andrew Kane are my official movers for any of my personal vehicles. Excellent service! The price is affordable and quality of service far exceeds my personal expectations. If you want personal security and have no worries when transporting your vehicles then just give NRG a chance. I promise as an executive Health Administrator you won’t be disappointed on the service NRG provides in transporting your vehicles anywhere in the U.S.

Of all the companies that contacted me, NGR was by far the easiest to work with. Their price was competitive, they did not talk down their competition and they were willing to allow me to add additional cargo. Alex was excellent to work with and responded to every text and email in a timely fashion.

I recently used NRG Transportation Inc. to ship my car from San Diego to Boston, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service. From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional.
