The house is cozy and well furnished, with a pleasant outdoor area. There is a barbecue outside, and inside you will find enough charcoal for your grilling. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including both a refrigerator and a freezer, as well as a dishwasher. A washing machine and dryer are available, but there are no towels or bathrobes provided. Bed sheets and pillowcases are also not included, so you will need to bring your own.

I have been using this portal for over 10 years. It is convenient for me to search for accommodation in Norway. I have a negative feeling that the exact location of the house is only displayed after the first installment is paid. It makes the choice a little more complicated. Best regards, Michal, Slovakia

The location is very nice, the house is big and very nice on the inside - more or less as expected. Ameneties are good and all in all it is a very pleasant place to stay.
However; it does not look like anyone has cared for the house in a few years. The sofa is covered in stains (covered by blankets), the outdoor furnitures are so worn down that it's hard to use them. The pillows for the outdoor furnitures are dirty, unwashed and quite discusting. The terrace has not been cared for in a few years are is quite worn down - at best I would say it's rustique... There sun umbrellas are broken down, and cannot be used - when you open them up, they fall apart. The place really needs some tender love and care to get back to the lovely place it can/should be and probably was a few years back.

If you want to cancel the booking you have paid for, it is virtuallly impossible with NOVASOL because of a hefty fee. Unless you have an i.e. medical confirmation that you cannot travel, then the fee will be reduce to €100. I advise you, don`t book with NOVASOL where the devil is in the details. Go for Airbnb or Booking.com where cancellation is free and no questions are asked. I write out of own experience with all three.

Any problem

Thankful for info about sauna. But I would have expected info about finnish sauna or infrared sauna already before booking.
I would have been happy if I knew that there will be extra billing for electricity, luckily got the info due to my additional questions
Still not haveing info if bedlinen are on spot, are they for extra fee or included?

Vi ankom i Oslo med Color Line og så gikk vi direkte med tog til Lillehammer
til fots fra Lillehammer over fjellene til denne hytta!!!!
(Vi har ikke bil med oss!)
Vi elsker Venabygdsfjellet i alle årstider.begge om sommeren og om vinteren og nå om høsten!!!
På Venabygdsfjellet er det veldig god butikk med mat og alt nødvendig utstyr det du trengs på hytta og på fjellet (også klær)

Og i denne hytta fra Novasol finns også vaske maskin og dusj ..det er deilig etter en flere dagers tur over fjellene .

Here you can find a very good shop with everything you need in the mountains (( food and fresh food ....and local food as well ..clothing and everything for your stay in the cabin)
The cabin is near the hotel and near the shop but still very quiet . wonderful few and birch trees around
From her you directly can go for walks ...in all directions !!!!
You can walk for half an hour or for one two or three ours or more there are many paths around or you can cycle or hirse riding or just sit on the veranda of the cabin and enjoy the sun....!!!

We are still staying at the above cabin address and aside from the location and space it stops there. Novasol failed to share arrival information : mainly that it is a gated entry way and we had to figure out who to reach out to and ended up finding the owner's number. There was no toiler paper in the cabin, no fresh towels, and apparently bed linens were on request. The owner was nice enough to arrange that for us with Novasol. Novasol were short on their delivery of the bed linens, leaving us with a double bed using a single size bed linen, duvet cover and a missing pillow case. The cabin was not cleaned thoroughly, there was dust (i took photos) on EVERY surface in the bedrooms including the closet floors. The previous guests/ or owners sheets were left in the laundry room along with a bunch of laundry that was just left there in the 2nd WC/laundry room. The kitchen utensils miss a kettle (a basic equipment) and so we'd have to use the stove to heat water to make tea and coffee each time- additionally the stove took forever to work. Additionally every time we try to reach out to Novasol no one answers - one number is always on answering machine in norwegian, the second number keeps you on hold until it gets cut-off, their chat response was reading like 'hard luck' despite my request for them to reach out to me via phone or email. We were given no instructions on where to take the trash out, and so had to ask the owner of the cabin again for that. Strong advice would be to never book a property managed by Novasol.

Really nice owner, and a beautiful house. A bit worn but it gave the house character, that’s why it doesn’t get 5 stars. The house was so clean, no trace of dust even behind the washing machine. Beautiful and breathtaking view from the balcony’s. A bit warm at night, but all the fans helped with that. A lovely garden with lots of flowers. Highly recommend this house. We were eight people in total, and it was very spacious.

Had booked a vacation rental through Novasol and one week prior to arrival they just cancelled the booking without any other explanation than that the unit "should not have been available" We had already booked flight tickets, and could not change our travel plans. Novasol would not compensate any of our additional costs associated with having to change flight tickets, or finding an alternative (and more expensive) rental on our own. Very unprofessional.

The house was dirty in general and not ready for rental business. Novasol handled the case very badly. And they invoice to high additional costs. Any complaints to then are ignored or handled very unprofessionally.

There iš good apartamen

Our stay in the South of France turned into a nightmare. A seemingly great stay on the French Riviera quickly turned into a nightmare when we arrived at the apartment we had booked via Novasol. The apartment was so unwashed and dirty. There was a lack of kitchen equipment. Dirty panties under the kids bedrom. Non-functioning air conditioning was the start of days-long one-way contact with Novasol.

Countless inquiries to Novasol without feedback and solution. Steer clear of Novasol for the world. They are not helpful at all when you need it most. No answer, no help. Just totally arrogant. After three difficult days, we decided to move out and to another apartment. Reimbursement from Novasol is proving just as difficult, but we are not giving up.

Novasol will probably deny the feedback, but do yourself a big favor and steer clear. There are plenty of other good opportunities.
