Notis represents a sea change
I first started
using Notice for a really, really simple use case. I just wanted to be
able to record voice notes of myself talking and have it saved into my
Notion databases. And I was doing this with the built in Notion AI for
a while, but then my minutes of it ran out and they're trying to
upsell me to their, their paid AI and the AI wasn't that great for a
lot of other things that they're doing. And I found out about Notice
and I was like, okay, this is great. And I had tried to build a no
code version of this before where, where I could use a telegram bot
and send a voice note and have it get saved into Notion. Great. Very,
very simple. And then I started to learn about what Notice is and what
it can do and seeing this more detailed nuance of what this tool
actually is. And I was just completely blown away by it. And more
than, it's more than just a feature or a use case or some specific
thing that I'm doing with it. What I've really realized, and as
somebody, I'm a Notion power user, so I've been using it very
intensely many years. I've done a lot of training on how to set up
Notion and it's so powerful. But it's really this like vast garden
that's just a blank canvas. And you have to do a lot of garden
tending. You have to really be conscientious of how you're setting
everything up and how you're tending your system. It's like, okay,
the, the vegetable beds go over here and the fruit trees go over here
and we've got to build the irrigation and you've got to set up all
that infrastructure for yourself. Which is what, why Notion has a kind
of steep learning curve versus some of these other productivity tools,
but which gives it this flexibility and power to be very, very
customized in what you're doing. And what I've realized about using
Notice is that it's really like the tool becoming the gardener for
you. So rather than being like, okay, my garden is producing fruit and
I can harvest it, but then I have to go and pick all the cucumbers and
I have to go change the irrigation lines. When this changes, you can
just say to notice, you go, shift this, take that, harvest this for me
and do the whole thing over telegram or WhatsApp or whatever voice
message service you're using. And it feels like this kind of
fundamental shift. It's like a sea change shift in how we relate to
technology that is now possible only because of AI. Because AI is this
mediating bridge between things. It's this new way of working that is
eliminating this complicated UI and all this structure and just making
things really, really simple in the, in the front end experience. But
then this vast magic is happening in the back end that really allows
you to do anything. And I've really come to this place where it's
hyper accelerated my productivity, where I'm spending so much less
time typing and on the phone and just driving through the voice notes.
But it also just feels like there's just this vast untapped potential
of what we can do with our technology. And notice feels like this
threshold jump and how we do that.
