Great product and price

I bought a Nothing Phone (2a) in March, and I have not had any problems with it since then, it is an impeccable phone, with an impeccable price. I could not recommend it more. The only odd thing is the phone came a bit dusty when I was unboxing it, but that isn’t a big problem.

Nothing short of disappointing

After just a couple of months, I'm experiencing the commonly reported issue with Nothing Phone 2 screen brightness.

Disabling Adaptive Brightness makes no difference and I have to constantly manually adjust the brightness level, even to maximum, as the screen invariably does not stay bright enough in low light or in outdoor natural light situations.

I'm not sure whether this a hardware or software issue (or even batch-related) because customer support has been ineffective and emails to senior management have gone unanswered.
There are some intermittent issues with NFC.

It's disappointing that a challenger brand with enormous potential should be so unconcerned with after-sales support and regrettably I cannot recommend this phone as things stand.

I'll now be approaching Nothing shareholders until I receive a resolution.

Nothing=shots given by customer service department

I actually love my CMF phone. Let's get that on paper. My one star is for the absolute bottom-scraping unnecessarily grindingly awful pit that is their customer service. I told them this, and now I'm telling you.

First I asked a straightforward question about a product. The answer I got was 100% diametrically wrong and there's no space for misunderstanding, your agent clearly was uninformed about the product and gave me very enthusiastic advice that was just straight up missellling. Then,

"No one properly read any of my messages. So we went round and round in circles for with you asking things I'd clearly told you in my very first email. This continued right through to the end, you would never just stop and read an email properly and your responses were totally random and always off the mark and unhelpful in a way that would never happen if you just slowed down and read my very short and clear emails.

Your enforced house style of "I understand you I am sorry you feel this way" is completely insincere, gratingly irritating, and just disrespectful to your customers. We don't need bullshitting, and when you are here to bullshit us with obviously insincere corporate i-care doublespeak but not here to even properly read and respond to any, I repeat, any message, it's just a massive waste of everyone's time and effort.

And the way the whole experience is mediated through a support system which makes you feel like you're trapped in a 1990s email round robin group with the cast of Severence just rounds off a horrible thoughtless corporate experience.

The result is you are spending a whole bunch of money and effort on irritating and blowing off your customers and not on, and I'm just gonna lean in to your 1990s round robin vibe here with the full caps and guys you started this, not in ACTUALLY COMMUNICATING WITH AND HELPING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

How badly all this film flam and insincerity jars with your Nothing brand values should be pretty obvious I hope, right?

Earphones came back damaged from service center

My Nothing Ear 2 had audio cutoff issues and was reported to the support. I sent them to the service center but the earphone case returned damaged after repair. I presume it was damaged by a knife when opening the package in the service center.

I have reported the damage to the support and checked on the status but they haven't provided any solution or compensation.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Weeks have passed since my first email, and despite several further attempts and reminders, at the time of writing, I still haven't heard anything back from the appropriate team, while I keep receiving their automated emails every time. I raised my concern to the customer service, but they couldn’t care less. One of the worst customer service I had ever experienced, and by reading at other reviews,I am not the first and only one. I would be very careful before buying any of their products, as you might end up in the same situation in case you will be experiencing any issues. Stay away from this company.

Nothing Ear Open

I have bought the Nothing Ear Open, and must say that it went beyond my expectations. The listening experience is nothing short of amazing. The detailed sound is very surprising for this kind of earphones and the bass very present, not too much, not too little. They are truly comfortable to wear. The microphone quality is good. These are exactly what I was looking for. Great product of great quality, definitely worth the price.

Nothing. Ironically the same customer service.

I ordered the nothing ear 2024 from the company. Nearly a month later, and nothing received yet. I've tried to reason with them. Telling them they should send out another pair, and expidite them, and I can send the original pair back if it ever comes in. They refused, and said it's in transit, so you should wait. They do not care about their customers at all. All they care about is money, and once they have that, good luck getting any kind of support from customer service.

I hesitated long to buy in Poland

I hesitated long to buy in Poland. The rating here was not encouraging.
However there was all, what we want to see, when we buy: There was a online-chat which responds before buying. The item was shipped within 2 days and arrived at my place (Austria) in about one week. I could track it on its way.
The device was undamaged, so I cannot say, how the support would be in that case. I can say for my own purchase: 100 % satisfied.

I really wanted to like it but compared to my other phones this is such a let down. It's noticeably slow, not intuitive, and it just feels clumsy to use. It feels more like a $400 phone then a $900 phone so spend your money wisely

I have the phone 2 and the ear 2

I have the phone 2 and the ear 2.
The ear 2 case stopped wirelessly charging for me and the costumer service sends you the same email every time without reading your answers. My right ear has static noise sometimes when taken out of the case but it does fix it to put them in and out. All and all the sound quality is alright, the anc is good, but the price is not justified by the maximum 2 hours of playing time after 7 months.
With the phone 2 I had issues where I couldn't open apps but the screen was responsive. After 12 emails they just said it will be fixed in an upcoming update. They have to upgrade their costumer service and after sales service because currently it is horrible.

Terrible quality of earbuds and terrible support

Hi,
I bought my nothing ear(2) and left earbud just came apart by itself (unglued) after almost a year of normal use. I contacted the shop, where I bought them and they sent my earbuds to Nothing authorized service. After a two weeks I received an answer that they refused to do anything with them, because the issue caused by mechanical damage, which is simply not true. I used them normally.
I contacted them on twitter(x) and received information, that they could fix it, but I need to pay for it. Mind that my warranty is still on.
Whole situation feels like scam and I advise you to avoid this company. That’s not the way you need to treat your clients. Do better!

If I could give a negative figure I…

If I could give a negative figure I would. . Absolutely atrocious returns system .
Purchased the open ear on pre order , as soon as received, I contacted Nothing support to return the item. I have had 14 emails. 2 phone calls amd no one can get me something simple as a returns address etc and it's a robotic service with repetitive answers no matter what question you ask !!!

The returns label then has information with nothing to do with a headset return and a series on complicated information and assignment of reasons why you wish to return ....

Then they create a work order number ....
Then I do not know what to do next ....

So I'm stuck with something new , and a loss of money and no idea of how to return and get a refund !!

Basically its virtually impossible to return your item with Nothing. You literally get nothing back !

Avoid this company

It’s now been two weeks since my refund was finally approved after months of emailing their customer service. However, I still haven't seen my €400, and I can’t get any reply. There are of course only two possible reasons for this: they simply don’t care about their customers, or they’re about to go bankrupt. Either way, I strongly recommend you avoid this company.

I am bitterly disappointed by Nothing…

I am bitterly disappointed by Nothing regarding a purchase of the Watch Pro 2.

I ordered the product last Monday but have yet to receive any tracking or update that the device has been shipped.

I reached out to their support who have given me no indication of whether the product is in stock, what’s happening or anything.

I really regret having to post this because I love what the company is about but I cannot see any way forward and I’m getting no response from their support team anymore.

I would give this experience ⅕ stars

SCAM COMPANY AVOID!!!!!!

This company is an absolute disgrace. I’ve ordered a couple phones for family and work colleagues as my regular phone is the nothing phone 2.

Ive now been waiting 10 days for my phones to dispatch which they are clearly not and now I’m asking them to cancel my order and it seems to be a problem which i find very strange as its my money and I’m left without any products. I’m unsure on how this company operates as they don’t even ship there devices. I’ve seen many other people have this problem so I’m guessing they are totally useless.

If this problem is not resolved soon I will not hesitate to sue them and report them to trading standards as they are breaching the consumer rights act because I have a legal requirement to cancel my order within 14 days but they keep on repeating there respective team is looking into it.

Nothing I would just like this order to be cancelled and would never recommend anyone doing business with this company again with there pathetic apologies.

No sign of my phone after a week

Ordered my Nothing Phone 2A Plus a week ago, filling in all of the delivery details required. The next day, I am told that the delivery details were incomplete? Upon informing the customer support agent who emailed me, they also concluded that the delivery details were complete?

It has since been a week since my order and it has yet to be dispatched. Any email I get back about the status of my phone returns an empty statement about how they are "investigating the situation" which I didn't know existed. The apologies only go so far until they become hollow.

Sorry Nothing, but this is truly unacceptable customer service.

Update: the day I posted this review, I was informed that my products were actually out of stock and they did not know when they would return. I have since asked for a refund from the company.

Turning into a bit of a fanboy...

I've had my Nothing Phone 1 for 18 months now. Easily the best phone I've ever had. It still has that wow factor when people see it glyph as it did when it was new. The build quality of the phone far supersedes my previous Samsung. I've recently purchased some CMF pro buds 2. Excellent quality for what is a fraction of the price of Samsung or Apple.
