Born out of love for 90’s fashion and colour, we make clothes that look awesome and will last a lifetime. Each garment is individually hand dyed, using responsibly sourced materials from manufacturers who put people and our beautiful planet above profits. We make unique clothing for both adults, children and babies and also have a range of accessories and officially licensed 80’s/90’s band T’s! All of our own brand clothing is WRAP certified and sourced from sustainable and Fair labour Certified manufacturers. All of our dyes are vegan and non toxic because harming our beautiful planet and its animals isn't our thing! This was a real find. I love navy chinos - but they fade long before they wear out. I've used her service a few times and now my navy chinos are forever smart. Rachel is as personable as the service she offers. Probably the best Dye House north of Watford.
Popped into the shop and was really impressed with everything!! An awesome range of vibrant clothes that you don't see a anywhere else! Lots of bits and bobs for gifts as well and Rach is lovely!

Great little gem of lancaster my hoody is still vibrant years later i keep meaning to buy another 1 but had a lot on so havent gone in in what feels like forever they have some great lava lamps and there hoodys last ages the colour stays really well and they have great customer service 5☆☆☆☆☆
We love this shop! Rach is knowledgeable about the products she sells and is very helpful. There's a good range of products and they are excellent quality and are all unique due to the way they are created. We bought a custom made t-shirt and Rach was brilliant at making suggestions for the design and sending mock up photos of options. The final t-shirt was fab! We highly recommend Northern Dye House!

Northern Dye House is absolutely epic!! The quality of the clothing is totally top notch, nothing bobbles. Ive got vests. Hoodies, sweats and socks and they are just cracking. The shop is fun, fresh and vibrant with loads of quirky and fun items for you to buy.
The owner is brilliant, she does a lot to support her local community and really gets involved and supports other small local businesses, so yeah, not a bad word to say about NDH.
If you want to support a cracking small local business, look no further as this one ticks all the boxes.

I LOVE this shop! I bought a ‘Love Lancaster’ T-shirt for myself and a T-shirt for my 10 year old son. My T-Shirt was VERY bright so was a bit anxious of washing it with other clothes, however there has been absolutely no running of colours. The quality is awesome and I love the fact it’s an independent shop. It also sells lots of cool bits and bobs that you just don’t get anywhere else but you need them in your life - like the mini axolotl that I also purchased!
Will be returning to nab some custom dyes for Christmas very soon!

Great little independent shop.
I purchased 2 hoodies and a baby grow and have to say I'm more that satisfied with them.
I will definitely be returning. I recommend a visit, even if it's only to chat to the owner that runs the shop about the mind boggling 'ice dye' method she uses. Big thumbs up for me
