Fantastic company !! I Would 100% recommend them! Noel is great and always goes that extra mile. Thanks so much for helping my mum and dad move home. The guys were amazing.

James and the team were great, made the move simple and straight forward. The booking process via Noel was also straight forward and we had a short notice to move that they were able to fit in for us. Highly recommended great crew.

I can’t recommend Northants Removals highly enough! From start to finish, the whole experience was absolutely first class. Right from the initial call and quotation Noel was friendly, professional and incredibly flexible—nothing was too much trouble. They completely worked around our schedule and made the whole process so easy and stress-free.
On moving day the team arrived on time, fully prepared, and ready to go. They handled every item with the utmost care, even the awkward and heavy stuff, and nothing was too difficult. They even took a window out (with my permission) to get items out of my quirky cottage! Throughout the day they were polite, efficient, and worked with a great sense of humour which really helped put me at ease.
What impressed me most was how well organised everything was—packing, transport and unloading were all seamless. They kept everything looking neat and respected my home as if it were their own.
Overall, an absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. 10/10!

We bought a Peugeot boxer from Northants Van Centre, they were fantastic even before we looked at the van, ensuring it was fully maintained and serviced.
After our purchase, the van developed a slight issue (covered by warranty), however we couldn’t get seen around our area and so sought help from Northants van centre, they didn’t mess around at all and I had a phone call very quickly from a local dealer (York, ward and Rowlatt). The dealer then sorted the issue that was previously declined by local dealers to myself.

We have been going through a very difficult move for over 9 months which has involved moving twice with the last time now complete. From the beginning we were in excellent hands.

Noel and his team made us feel valued and kept us informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble even when one house sale fell through at the last possible moment.

The team kept in touch and when we were ready to complete on this sale we were very greatful to be using the company.

The team on both occasions arrived at the designated times and were quick, efficient and very respectful of our homes. At the new properties unloading was quick and everything put in the right place.

Fantastic service
Noel absolutely understood what I needed and he and his team bent over backwards to deliver a first rate service. The team of 5 were sensitive, understanding, polite and helpful. They were all respectful of us and our possessions. They didn’t rush us at all and fitted around the various animals to ensure that they were safe. They worked incredibly hard and managed to manoeuvre some furniture into spaces that defied belief! They were absolutely 100% and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you Noel, Chris, Daniel and Ben - and the other 2 lads whose names I apologise for forgetting. First rate service in every way.

I recently sold a property in Desborough. My chosen removal company had already emptied the house, and I was waiting there for my solicitor to confirm that the sale had completed. Suddenly, Northants Removals turned up unannounced. Without knocking or asking, they walked straight into the property claiming the sale had completed — which it had not, as I was still waiting for confirmation.

They began unloading into the garden without permission and, to my disbelief, started throwing rubbish into the stream that runs through the garden.

One individual in a Northants Removals uniform — who looked barely out of his teens — was shouting that his dad said it had completed. I had no idea who his dad was, but I certainly wasn’t taking the word of a stranger over my solicitor.

They blocked me in, blocked my neighbours in, and showed zero regard for anyone but themselves. It was an awful way to say goodbye to a home, surrounded by what can only be described as wild children in Northants Removals uniform. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

This is the second time we’ve used Northants removals and we honestly couldn’t be happier. Reliable, helpful and trustworthy team! They came the day before to pack the kitchen breakables and they also loaded one of the vans then. This meant the next day we were packed and ready by around 10:30! The four chaps who moved us worked so very hard and are a credit to Noel’s business. Noel himself is one of the friendliest and most helpful business owners I’ve dealt with. Incredibly reasonably priced for the service delivered! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing service, nothing was too much trouble. Communication from start to finish was impeccable! I can not recommend this family run business enough. If you want honest, trustworthy service from beginning to end these are the ones for you. I would never use anyone else.

Although the quote provided by Northants Removals was the highest of the 4 obtained I had believed that the professional service promised by Noel would be worth the extra money so went ahead.
However the move itself made me regret this decision.
On the morning of the removal the van was an hour late, I had been contacted that morning but only to say they would be 15-20 minutes late.
On the morning of the delivering my items to my new home they were 2 hours late. I had not been contacted in advance that there would be a change of arrival time and only discovered this when contacting them directly when they were 30 minutes late. I genuinely believed I had been scammed and I had lost all my belongings and the very large amount of money I’d paid for the removal. I cannot describe the level of stress I experienced, it was horribly horrendous.
The fees charged to me included an amount for overnight accommodation however it was only on the morning of the delivery that I discovered that this accommodation was not used. It was a battle trying to be reimbursed for the accommodation specifically stated in the quote and obviously not used.
The bed was dismantled as agreed however it was very poorly reassembled and I had to subsequently dismantle and reassemble this myself so that it was safe and secure.
My two sofas were dismantled which had not been discussed or agreed. These were subsequently reassembled to a poor standard.
Some costly items were left on the van although I had been assured that everything had been unloaded, I very much regret not checking the back of the van myself instead of trusting what I’d been told however it had been a very stressful morning and I was exhausted by the situation. I have still been unable to get these items back.
When subsequently trying to discuss these issues with Noel it was all dragged out over several weeks and further compounded the stress and ill-health caused. As the situation was making me very ill I tried to bring it to a conclusion after 3 months and that wasn’t easy either as I again had to chase this up a few weeks after I’d accepted their very derisory offer of compensation.
I do not understand why I was treated so poorly, particularly as one member of the team had texted “you have been an amazing client”.
All in all choosing Northants Removals was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made and definitely not the premier service I’d been promised and that I’d been charged for.

I cannot speak highly enough of Noel and his team. Noel is a very special person, his empathy and compassion for people going through one of the most difficult and stressful processes in their lifetime is unmatched. Mum was leaving her home of 53 years and moving to an assisted living apartment. She had a mountain of furniture and possessions we needed to move or dispose of. Noel managed the whole process of donating to charity and moved it all for us, this saved us a fortune and all the time and stress it could have cost us. Our solicitor made sure we never had any idea when to arrange our removal date! yet Noel remained flexible and able shift dates, then to fix a date for us at virtually no notice. The removal team were excellent, working quickly and efficiently, very courteous and keen to please. Noel, thank you so much.

What a great team & company!!! I used this firm on the 4th September, they were a little late getting to me but Noel text me to say the team was stuck in traffic, When they arrived they loaded quickly and met me at the new property & unloaded again quickly and efficiently. I noticed a crack in one of my mirrored furniture and Dave notified Noel and 5 weeks later I received a new one!!! Cannot fault this company and I would strongly recommend them
