The windows and doors look great and have handy features
Windows and Doors supplied and fitted by NorDan.
NorDan fitted 2 windows and 2 doors in our home. They removed the old doors and windows and replaced them. Sean Murphy of NorDan, was our first Contact, his help and responses was efficient and courteous. On the day NorDan arrived with the new fittings all of their people from the delivery man to the 2 Fitters who did a brilliant job were a joy to deal with also. The Windows and Doors are excellent and the increased comfort in the house could be felt immediately.

Retrofit of redbrick house
I recently bought windows and one of the large triple track sliders.
The support from David Ward was great in getting to pick the windows and final selection. Great to work with and recommend.
Also - the after sales (service) part of the Nordan business is a great strength to the business in the event something goes wrong or needs to be fixed.
Extremely Exposed site full replacement
We had a substantial number (22 in total) windows replaced including a number of large (1.8m x 2.2m) dg units all to triple glazed as we are an exposed sea facing site that was fully exposed to last years serious storm , and the old units were at the point of blowing in.The triple glazed laminated units are 200k/h guaranteed (180k/h experienced!) so should hold.;)
John and his brother both measured and fitted the units extremely professionally and promptly , despite the site difficulties and the inevitable dirt and disruption it was minimal hardship for us. Thanks
Highly recommend Nordan for service & product!!
My experience with Nordan was very positive from start to finish. From the first visit to the Cork showroom the sales rep Ravi was extremely friendly, helpful and informative and continued to be so throughout the whole process. Drawings were revised on a few occasions with minor changes and each time Ravi was very efficient in doing this. Communication was first class and following any missed phonecall or email he was sure to get back without much delay with a response to any queries I had. The installation foreman Brendan was also very pleasant to deal with and was on site soon after installation to carry out a window check. Overall we are very happy with the product and service provided by Nordan and would definitely highly recommend.
Impressed by quality
Replaced 26-year-old drafty windows that were poorly installed. Nordan quality very obvious in the finished product, very good finish on the brickwork compared to many windows that I have seen. Everything was clearly communicated from the start I had picked off White but in hindsight I should have picked brilliant white but after three weeks, I’m not noticing the colour now. I reckon I have gained 1° heat upstairs alread. Very good service overall worth spending extra money for longer guarantee and better quality. Installers John and Richard were very good as was Ravi (sales representative in Cork) and Brendan organising installers. We took a lot of care in removing as much of stuff as possible from rooms and sealing with black plastic that we got from Co-op shop in addition to sealing the wardrobes so we had a very minimal dust other than the dust on the floors which required hoovering and mopping afterwards.
Highly recommend Nordan!
I was very indecisive about who and what type of window to go with and colour/style etc . Nordans warranty stood out and with cost of pvc products going up , paying that bit extra for the quality of this aluclad product seemed a no brainer. Ravi was very helpful and patient throughout the process.
The fitters John and richard were so lovely and did a great job . There’s a few minor things to touch up but to be expected and they’ve already scheduled to come out to sort no more bother .
They’re in a week and we already feel the difference in heat retention in the house is so much better .
Highly recommend going with Nordan for your windows!
Housing Project
First time dealing with Nordan and found Ravi sales rep and Brendan installation foreman very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Our windows arrived within the time frame given but my only slight criticism is that they were not all fitted in the promised time but this was totally outside of the 2 lads control.Overall a go experience and we will be using them again.
On our new house project
On our new house project we have ordered triple glazed Alu clad windows. Ravi has been brilliant and has held our hand through the whole process. We had I think three iterations of drawings which finalised improving with each stage. The installation team have been great and communication with ourselves and our builder first class.
Dealing with Nordan was a pleasure on my self build
From start to finish my experience of dealing with Nordan was a very positive one. The salesman Michael was very helpful and met us on site to go through our options while the house was only at wall plate level, Once we picked our colour and placed our order our windows and doors were ready before the roof was finished. I rang Michael to see could they push back the delivery and installation date and he was more than helpful and he held them for us until roof was completed. The Nordan installation crew were meticulous, very neat and a pleasure to deal with. Michael paid a visit a week later to see if we had any issues of which there were none. I can highly recommend dealing with Michael as he is very knowledgeable from small details like having the inside of bedroom and bathroom windows white to go with any colour scheme we choose, we couldn’t decide on a front and patio door and he helped us decide what to go for and we couldn’t be happier with them.
Very professional team
Very professional team, starting with the initial discussions through to the fitting of the windows and doors. Faultless.
Good service
We ordered a full set of triple glazed aluclad windows and doors from Nordan, including a large 5m sliding triple door. Overall we found them good to deal with, especially Adam during the initial process of picking out what worked best for our project and getting the order in.
There were some delays around delivery and installation, although this has been a bit of a trend across our project and isn't exclusive to Nordan. To be fair, there was open communication around this and on installation dates, etc.
One window pane was also cracked slightly during the install, which is to be replaced before we move in.
A pleasure to deal with
Ordering from Nordan has been seamless from start to finish. We visited the showroom, got a site visit and quote very quickly and upon ordering we got clear communication on a site survey and approximate installation date. We were communicated with clearly throughout the process with dates etc. We replaced 12 large windows so it was a big job but installers did long days and did everything correctly, coming back to ensure every detail was right. We had numerous visits and calls from Nordan reps throughout and after the install to ensure we were happy and to check if everything was to our satisfaction. Cannot fault the service from start to finish with their level of correspondence and customer support. We've used other window suppliers before and had to chase them to finish things and rectify things but not Nordan. Would highly recommend.
Good product with poor installation
I got my sliding doors and hinged doors and windows replaced by Nordan's inhouse Dublin crew in 2024 (sliding doors) and 2025 (windows & hinged doors)
I was happy enough with the sliding doors , although the installation crew wasn't able to get one of them inset properly and as a result the external reveal is about an inch shallower than it should be. The installers were also very dusty - the dust-sheeting was very poor and I was hoovering dust out of my couches for weeks. It also took almost three months for the installers to come back and put the finishing touches on the install.
On the other hand, the window installation was VERY disapppointing. The sales guy made multiple mistakes on the quote that required three rounds of corrections. And he still got the glass spec. wrong for the bathroom (clear - not sand-blasted). He also didn't double check that the color I ordered matched the previous years doors - so now I have mismatched colors.
The installers worked at a ridiculously fast pace and didn't give a crap about gouging the window sills and walls. One of the windows they installed has hammer marks on it from where they beat it into the opening, and several of my windows are sticky opening and closing because the installers didn't prep the opening properly and just jammed the windows in.
The installers also did a very poor job of plaster repair after the installation, even after I complained about the quality and they came back (grudgingly) to fix things up.
But the biggest problem was that they cut into my existing window sills to fit the new (wide) windows which means that the internal reveals on some of the windows are now about two inches and my roller blinds don't fit any more. No discussion about this at all - they just came in and started sawing.
Two months after the installation, I'm still trying to get them to install proper kick panels beneath the hinged doors and replace the bathroom glass, but after emailing the sales guy for five weeks in a row, I'm giving up and just writing a review that reflects my experience everywhere I can.
Update: the company came back and installed kickpanels without notifying me. One of them blocked a floor vent, so I had to cut vent holes and fit a louvred vent myself into the kickpanel.
After attempting to reconnect my doorbell, I discovered that the installers must have damaged or cut the wire for the doorbell when they installed the front door. I liked having a backup to my wifi doorbell. But not any more I guess.
My experience reflects the one star reviews. …
There’s a bunch of one star reviews here. I would read them as I can relate to them - they reflect my experience which was miserable. Expensive poor quality, dismissive evasive service and follow up, poor quality mechanisms, all feature for me. As an example I now don't open my French windows as I can only re lock them from the outside. And I don’t have the energy to pursue another issue.
Absolutely Disastrous Experience – Deeply Regret Choosing Nordan
We spent €26,000 on windows from Nordan and it has been nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. The sales experience was smooth; right up until we paid the deposit. After that, everything fell apart.
We were blatantly misled about the delivery timeline, which had major knock-on effects on our entire build schedule. We were assured of an 8–10 week delivery from deposit payment. Based on this, we paid €8,500 to "secure our place in the queue." That was false assurance. Weeks passed with no updates. Repeated emails went unanswered or were brushed off. Then, suddenly, we were told the windows might arrive in Ireland (not to us) over a month later than their worst-case timeframe. Installation wouldn’t even happen until January this year, causing chaos with our build, tradespeople, and rental arrangements.
This delay has cost us thousands in extended rental and disrupted the entire construction process. No accountability, no apology, no meaningful compensation; just vague excuses and silence.
When the windows finally arrived, the issues only got worse:
- Three separate call-outs were required to fix broken locks and replace components.
- Handles were the wrong colour across the board.
- One of the largest panes was installed with a visible flaw (looks like a grain of sand in the glass with the glass visibly damaged around it) this now needs complete replacement.
- We were told the locks were breaking due to some “built-in anti-burglary system” – a laughable excuse for clear product defects.
- The sliding door handles don’t work properly and the so-called “safety catches” are stiff, awkward, and feel flimsy in everyday use.
- Months went by with exposed installation, leaving our home unsightly.
- The sliding doors are supposed to be flush with the floor, they are not.
This product is marketed as premium; in reality, it feels cheap, clunky, and like they could break any time you unlock the door. We are embarrassed to ask friends not to use the doors when we paid so much for them. The quality does not match the price point, and we feel thoroughly taken advantage of.
To add insult to injury, communication throughout this ordeal has been dismissive, evasive, and completely lacking in accountability. Despite the chaos and significant financial damage this caused, Nordan has done nothing to rectify the situation.
If you're reading this and considering using Nordan—don’t. Save yourself the stress, the expense, and the regret. We wish every day that we had gone with another supplier. This has been the most frustrating and disappointing purchase we have ever made.
Fantastic service from Bernard, Justin & Dave
Fantastic service from Bernard, Justin and Dave. Had sliding glass door replaced and they serviced all my windows as well. Extremely professional and efficient. 5 star rating from us
Great customer service
This is my second time using Nordan Windows, having been very happy with work they did on my house 2 years ago. The customer service was excellent and everyone I dealt with from the salesman, to the installer, the service dept to the technician, was very pleasant and helpful. There was a minor issue with my door handle after a slider was installed. I sent an email to the service dept. Within an hour I had a response and an inspection date for a technician to visit. Bernard came the same day as he was on a job nearby and had the issue resolved in minutes! The slider looks great, feels extra secure and opens and closes smoothly. I will need my upstairs windows done in a year or so and will definitely go back to Nordan again.
