The food is mainly good although pasta sauces are occasionally watery. One risotto we were sent no rice which was an issue! But refund was simple. Veggie dishes better than meat. Pizzas and puddings delicious

Cancellation is unnecessarily complicated.
The pasta itself is okay, but gets a bit boring after a few weeks -(and I eat a lot of pasta!!) As others have said the ice packs often arrive melted and food warm which can be a little concerning, although I appreciate the weather has been incredibly warm making logistics trickier.
My main issue has been with how convoluted the cancellation process is- when I click "end subscription" or "close account, that should be it- instead it comes up with a page saying you have to contact customer services when you click this. So I sent an email. Received a reply saying account would be paused until cancellation could be finalized/processed. I then received a missed call and a voicemail left saying I will need to phone them back to confirm some things with the account before it can be cancelled. Such a drawn out cancellation process is very very off putting for a service like this that is supposed to be about confidence.

I completely understand the issues expressed regarding the cancellation process, as a small business wanting to gather as much feedback and speak to people about their subscription and potentially offer solutions that may get lost over email is always something we like to explore with customers - but I can also acknowledge that it is inconvenient and not as quick and seamless as it could or should be.
I'll also make sure the feedback on menu variety and on the ice packs/temperature is passed on to the right teams, as both are things we're actively working to improve.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a considered review, even as you were heading out the door.

I appreciate they have to consider delivery but it also overpriced in my opinion. I guess you’re paying for the convenience but it’s not worth it for me. I won’t be continuing my subscription

Listen the pasta is...fine? i guess? it's really quick to prepare and it's very filling. But God I hope you like pasta because if you cancel they will call you every 2-4 months to get you to resubscribe. I cancelled because it was just very samey. I just dont want to eat pasta that frequently. I was frustrated when I realised you have to email them to cancel, you can't do it through the account, then someone will call you, again trying to get you to stay subbed. You will never get rid of them. I am constantly trying to get them to delete my number.

Thank you for such an honest account, these are fair points, and I'm sorry they've added up to this experience.
On variety, that's genuinely useful feedback - if the menu felt too repetitive to eat that often, that's something worth us looking at directly, particularly for anyone eating pasta multiple times a week. On cancellation, you're right that it currently has to be done by email rather than through the account, currently which may change in the next year. And on the repeated calls after cancelling if you've specifically asked for your number to be removed, that's not how we should be treating anyone who's said no and I cna only apologise for the inconvenience.
If you're open to it, I'd like to personally make sure your number is actually removed this time rather than just noted again - if you can share the number that keeps getting called (here or directly to hello@nonnatonda.co.uk (mailto:hello@nonnatonda.co.uk)), I'll get it properly deleted and follow up in writing to confirm.

Good food, poor service.
Positives - Very good quality food, really convenient to cook, flexible ordering, affordable introductory offers.
Negatives - Poor communication between the company and their couriers. My food was left in the sweltering sun all day yesterday as the driver rang my bell rather than my neighbours bell, as I had requested on the phone with a Nonna Tonda staff member that morning. Meant the food wasn't in a great state when I cooked it.

Not for meat eaters
Very nice idea, delivery is top notch and vegetarian options are great. Beware of meat dishes though. We tried it once and it was disgusting, meat was really low quality, half of the portion was inedible full of fat and joints. I would be keen to try again should the meat quality improve.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Was expecting good traditional Italian food. Too many additions spoiled the real flavours. In the last meal , the nduja flavour was overpowering and that was all we could taste. I have been married to an Italian for over 50years, so I know how good Italian food should taste.i do not see the need for chefs adding extra ingredients - they certainly do nothing for the dishes.
These meals were a gift for us so am reluctant to tell my daughter how disappointed we were but will do so because I don't want her spending money on something we haven't enjoyed.
Sorry if this is not the review you are expecting but I am being honest.

I have very much enjoyed the meals we’ve had but I don’t think can justify paying full price once the opening offer has run out. Pizza was delicious and the courgette pasta dish was really special. This weeks’s pesto pasta was a bit ordinary tbh.
