FRAUD

Have no idea what is nomstress and I have been charged with $81.79 Euros. This is definitely fraud. Have not used my credit card in no third parties to have this charge, have not used in in any website. Need this to be refunded by nomstress.

Unauthorized charge of $81.79

Unauthorized charge of $81.79 – No subscription, no service!

On July 19, 2025, $81.79 was taken from my card by Nomstress.com without my knowledge or consent.

I have never subscribed to any services, I never agreed to recurring payments, and I never received any confirmation email or information about the supposed subscription.

I contacted their support team, but received no proper response or explanation. This feels like a scam scheme, where your card is charged after you enter it on some unrelated third-party site (probably offering a free trial or low-cost product).

I have already submitted a chargeback request to my bank and will be reporting this company to consumer protection agencies.

Be very careful – this company operates under suspicious methods and may be linked to hidden charges from random websites.

I demand a full refund and proper explanation, otherwise this review will remain public and further legal action may follow.

Misleading or fraudulent?

Beware! The Dance World Cup is currently being held in Spain and I followed a link provided by nomstress to pay £1 to watch the opening ceremony. Once the transaction was approved, I was sent a welcome email from modernwebforge.com! Although bemused by this, I wasn't immediately aware that I'd subscribed to a 2 day trial with this website-building company based in Nicosia, Cyprus!
I decided to read the terms and conditions in more detail and I discovered that if I failed to cancel my two day trial, then I would be charged the full monthly fee of £89 !
For those less wary, this could quite easily result in hoodwinking people (who possibly have no interest whatsoever in membership of a web-building platform) into subscribing for at least a month's subscription. The legal phrase Caveat emptor (buyer beware) definitely applies here, as these websites appear to be relying upon those of us who foolishly don't read the small print!
I luckily scrolled to the bottom of the post-registration email and saw in very small letters the reference to the 2 day trial, after which I'd be charged a month's subscription fee in full. Consequently, I've put a stop on my credit card, reported this to Capital One's fraud department and sent a series of emails to both nomstress and modernwebforge.com to insist that they cancel my 'membership' immediately! For what it's worth, I personally find this behaviour absolutely appalling!
