Mixed review

Mixed review.
Some things worked very well others less so.
The positives:
Cars as described Mercedes CLA, no cheap substitutes like other companies.
Low mileage. Great condition.
Rep was very polite and friendly.
Nomad app is handy for tracking booking details and fairly quick responses By customer services.
Return to airport was great as the rep dropped me off as I’d just missed the shuttle. Thank you.

The opportunities for improvement:
Pre-arrival document checks are great but then you repeat the process which undid all the innovation.
Refund process is really slow - to be fair I think this may be down to the bank as my hotel refunded my deposit 4 days earlier and they both cleared my account same day so I’ll give Nomad the benefit of the doubt. An optional “0” excess insurance may reduce this headache.
Bus from airport to car pickup took quite a while.
Bit of a queue to pickup the cars and only 1 rep which was a bit unfortunate. Perhaps a “Zipcar” style swipe card or app to collect the car hassle free could be the next tech at Nomad?

Awful service

Awful service. No rep present when car returned in Geneva, charged £1000 for scratch to bumper which we were only informed about once we had returned home, extremely difficult to contact nomadcar for the correct paperwork which our
insurance required. Initially it seemed cheap, but only because they retain your deposit. Avoid and use a reputable, well known car hire firm.

Customer service was unable to…

Customer service was unable to thoroughly explain and advise on a problem. Company will lose a very interested customer towards this company as the customer was not able to experience the service of the car before the car rental date.

Awful

Awful! Avoid!

Collection was painful and handing the car back involved leaving keys at reception of a hotel. Nobody there to perform an inspection, then they charge you for damage that wasn't there. It's a scam!

Typical untrustworthy car hire operator…

Typical untrustworthy car hire operator that will charge you for every tiny little thing they feel they can without justification. Communication to dispute unwarranted charges was non-existent despite numerous emails and attempted phone calls. AVOID!

Check-in and check-out process painful

The check-in and check-out process is very painful. Is done in a hotel lobby nearby the airport (you have to take a bus) and involves a lot of paper and pay in an app on the receptionist smartphone. If you go in business loose 2 or more hours doing a check-in can be a problem. In the end, they found a small scratch in the weel (that I had to believe that was made for me) the result was: more paper and time lost (and some CHs too). Very bad experience.

WATCH OUT! They charge you for damages without justifying them

We rent a car like hundred times in our life. The nigthmare starts at the check out. Nobody was waiting to collect the keys and check the good condition of the car.
We leave it at the parking in perfect condition. No damages and full tank.
One month later they charge 156€ for damages and 24,33€ for a fuel fee. No justification of that, no picture, no explanation about the damages, and the worst of that the impunity of the companies who abuse to take a ridiculous profit even at the risk of losing a client for ever.

Lamentable scam. NOMADCAR NEVER MORE.

Booking experience is great

Booking experience is great, customer services works on 9-17 and is useless.
The cars are top of the line Mercedes (in Geneva).
In Geneva the office is at the Holiday-inn which is 7-10 minutes walk from the terminal.
Service on site is fabulous and the Vale ( rep on site) is perfect.
