Acting on behalf of a friend who wanted…
Acting on behalf of a friend who wanted a change of name I went on internet to find a firm or company for that purpose. When I Nino apply I filled in al details required. At the end of the form were costs. For a quick delivery charge was £72. Other costs were £60 and for plastic card £20+. I then found the Gov UK site and find there is no charge at all for a change of name which had been put on my friends original form .My friend has a copy of the receipt dated 31 January 2024. And yet 24 days later no form. This firm is not to be trusted at all.

Completed the application form for new…
Completed the application form for new NI number for my mum. They took my £38 but when I tried to contract them via telephone number 0800 774 7682 shown on their website and via email there has been no response. I wanted to cancel my application as I think I have completed a wrong form and they are not responding as they don't want to refund the £38. Very disappointed. Keep away!
Still praying on the Vulnerable
I work for a local charity and some poor refugees have just been scammed by this company. When we call and finally get through to explain they hang up on us, we told local authorities but doubt there is much they can do

Paid, but did not receive.
Paid for this service to retrieve my 16 year olds NI number. We recently move and suspected the original NI was sent to the old address.
Paid for service, waited 15 working days (as per email confirmation), nothing received. When I complained to them they told me they couldn't help and I had to call HMRC (who are understaffed, huge phone waiting times, reason I used Nino in the first place).
They did not care that I paid for a service that was not fulfilled and would not help at all.
I sent off for a national insurance…not received it yet
I sent off for a national insurance card may last year paid 24 pounds for it was supposed to receive it in the post and it still has not arrived complained by post and letter several times but no reply and still no national insurance card
