I recently had Curtis from Nifty Electrician Manchester do some work in my home, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. He took care of changing sockets and installing new ceiling lights. Not only was his work quick and efficient, but he also left everything clean and tidy.

What really stood out for me was Curtis's expertise. He spotted and fixed a wiring issue we hadn't even noticed. It’s clear he’s got a lot of knowledge and experience.

Curtis was professional but also really approachable and friendly. He explained everything he was doing, which I appreciated. It was a great mix of professional skill and personal touch.

All in all, if you’re looking for reliable and skilled electrical services, I’d definitely recommend Curtis.

I am so pleased with Curtis at Nifty who was exceptional throughout the whole process of sorting out the electrics in my new home. He installed new lights throughout, put a new ring circuit in, replaced extractors, fitted new sockets everywhere, outdoor lighting and so much more. He was a pleasure to work with and moved through everything quickly. His communication was excellent at all times and everything was completed to a high standard.

Curtis came to automate my investment property 3 years ago. I did initially wonder whether automation on an investment property would be a waste of time but it do highly recommend doing it. It sets my property apart from the rest and the tenants love it and it is so easy for them to set up use via the app. They can turn the heating on and off remotely when they are out and they no longer have to worry about whether they have left the light on when the go on holiday. Its convienient and practical for tenants and makes the apartment look and feel luxurious. I highly recommend Nifty’s services.

Wow excellent 5* service from start to finish. Our blinds are amazing and top of the range and our touch screen is fabulous and changes the colour of the lights in the house so quickly. Curtis is so knowledgable, supportive and works really hard to get the best results. Really clean worker too! Thank you.

We used Nifty to install a pair of security cameras outside our new home and couldn't be happier with the result. The installation was clean and tidy and the app is incredibly easy to use. Being able to check in while we're away gives us the piece of mind that our property is safe and secure.

Curtis did an excellent job of answering all our questions and is obviously very knowledgeable about all the latest smart home tech. He showed us what's possible and gave us some really cool ideas for future upgrades we can make. We'd highly recommend Nifty and would definitely use them again.

Being new to ‘smart homes’ I was very overwhelmed looking at lots of websites and ideas. I was recommended by a friend to contact ‘Nifty’. I got a quick response and was very happy with the information and quote I received. As a starting point I just wanted to be able to control my heating via an app to allow my home to be more energy efficient and pre-warmed before getting up and coming home for my little one. Other companies I explored kept trying to add on extra but ‘Nifty’ were very respectful of my budget and vision. As a not very tech-savvy person I found ‘Nifty’ very insightful and patient with my numerous questions. Whilst the work was being done Curtis was very professional and polite in our home. I am still enjoying the novelty of using my app and coming home to a warm place but I will definitely use their service again when I expand on my smart home in the future . 100% recommended.

Our neighbors got burgled and I wanted to feel safe in my own home, I explored camera systems and Curtis helped explain what would work for us. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy. He did a fantastic job and the system we went for is above my expectations.

We had the whole nifty package installed by Curtis which included two of the In-Wall Nifty Touch Displays.

The system itself is brilliant and makes day to day tasks automated which saves so much time its unbelievable!

We have lighting, heating, cameras and curtains/blinds all controlled by the system which are now either automated or work with a touch of button (grouped or ungrouped).

The system itself is very reliable and should you have any teething problems then Curtis is an absolute pleasure to work with and wont be happy until everything is perfect!

We decided to future-proof our home, and move forward with technology; and 'nifty.place' were perfect for our project and skill base. We discussed the things we wanted and detail of to achieve these things, along with how work would be completed; and the benefits of doing it all. We had whole house integration of lighting, heating, home security and media services; which could all be controlled via one 'application' uniquely built for our home. Throughout he process Curtis was priceless with his efforts and commitment to making sure every little detail was thought through and perfected, no questions were considered as too insignificant or foolish; and full explanations and guidance then followed for each enquiry.
We now have a home where heating and lighting for every room can be controlled individually within each room, from either a central wall mounted tablet or by mobile phone; whilst still being able to do all these things conventionally also. The ease in which all these services work compatibly makes things far easier for us as we will grow older and maybe rely on the simplicity of the system. Furthermore because all the system is controlled under one 'application', it reduces the need to 'bob in & out' of multiple software programs.
We cannot recommend 'nifty.place' highly enough...a no brainer if you are wanting to keep up with technology; despite maybe not having an in-depth understanding of modern gadgetry. In these times of economical and financial difficulties, you can have a better control of your energy usage with this technology; and survey and amend your routines and usage to better control your budgets. Win Win!
We feel confident using the software, and feel confident with all the devices and security systems also; knowing your property is more secure when you are out or away.

A pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Planned the job in conjunction with the electricians. Nifty installation team work diligently & they are tidy on the job too! The software is easy to use & understand. Would recommend to friends & family.

I contacted Nifty online to ask for a quote for 2 pir external lights, new internal plug socket, loft light and to fit some bathroom lights. I got a prompt response, arranged for them to come out and after viewing the property got a quote promptly via text message. The quote seemed reasonable and was split up to show cost of parts and labour with links to proposed lights which I found useful.

The work took a full day, I had some last minute skype meetings that day so wasn't available to supervise or answer questions but the chap that came out (can't name names) cracked on and am happy with where everything was sited. They fitted an external junction box for the outside security light which was a nice touch and not something the other electricians I had round to quote had mentioned.

All in all I am satisfied with the work, they were polite throughout and importantly were reliable, arriving when they said. Previously been let down by 3 electricians before I found Nifty. Should note they don't take card only cash or bank transfer. They are NICEIC and the certificate (Part P I think) came through promptly after the work too.

Had the work done early July 2020 and everything still works fine 6 weeks on. Thanks Nifty, would use again.

Curtis was very punctual, knowledgeable and helpful when he came to fit extra sockets and a consumer unit. He explained everything he was doing and the work was to a high standard. Very pleased to have used them and highly recommend to anyone.

Great service, slick installation and lovely people

I asked about electric blinds for my home, they were very knowledgeable and gave me plenty of options within my budget! The fitters arrived on time and were very polite and tidy. I will definitely use them again for other projects!

I needed a security light after a spate of burglaries in my area, I contacted nifty for a quote and when he came he explained my options and the benefits of the ring floodlight cam so I decided so go ahead with the job.
The work was completed in a timely manner convenient for me and he also discussed about adding other smart features when my budget allows, no hard sell just helpful advice.
Really happy with my purchase would definitely contact nifty again.

I enquired about alexa controling lights in my house, Curtis responded quickly and helped me choose what's best for my needs. On the day, he arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. He was professional and polite. Once fitted he shown me how to use the app that was tailored to me needs. He removed all packaging and cleaned up and said if I needed anything to contact him.

Finding trades people is so tough. When you are out of the business it's hard to know if the price is right. We were recommended Curtis through my cousin (hi found him on (mybuilder.com) anyway...he is ace! Totally professional, instantly trustworthy and genuinely clued up on his job. Very good prices and we will definitely be bringing him back to do more work. Very happy with the service.

I hired Nifty Places to install a selection of coloured light strips throughout my home. I had no idea how it all worked, the gentleman explained throughout what he was doing and showed me along the way. They replaced all my light switches allowing me to be able to control my lights with my phone and using Alexa. It was so simple when he explained it step by step and easy to remember.

All the members of the Nifty team treated me and my home with the upmost respect and were always professional. They arrived early and stayed late until the work was complete.

I recently used Nifty to add some striplights on my stairs steps, spotlights under my stairs and a Nest thermostat which was linked up to my Alexa.

The work was carried out by a pleasant installer called Curtis. The work carried out is very neat, works as expected and was tidied up thouroughly on completion.

Highly recommend and would definitely use again.
