I am checking prices for a high-end gaming video card for PC. The price offered by nicebest is less than half of what better-known and well-regarded retailers are asking.
There is a "TrustPilot" badge in the lower-left corner, but it isn't a link, just text and graphics claiming a 4.9 score with ten thousand reviews. I've been to sites with TrustPilot badges, and in every case it is a link that browses to the business profile on TrustPilot's website.
The third, and most alarming, issue appeared while I was checking details, like the TrustPilot badge, or to see other product offerings. My antivirus software interjects that this is an unsafe site, and requires multiple hoops to jump through if I want any other content; I refuse to go that far.
I could not in good faith make any purchase from nicebest.
This appears to be a legitimate site, but it claims 10K reviews on TrustPilot and there are actually NONE!!!
After entering my Venmo debit card, I got a mysterious email from Venmo saying my card had been added to Samsung Pay, which I don't even use.
