Hi, I'm Noah, I started Ngonde due to the life-saving impact Iboga had on both my mother and me. At the time, my mother was burdened by severe anxiety, depression, panic attacks, as well as addiction to cigarettes and alcohol. It's doubtful she would have survived another two years. Meanwhile, I was grappling with the aftermath of psychedelic overuse, teetering on the edge of mild schizophrenia. With Western medicine falling short, we embarked on a fated journey to Panama, where we crossed paths with Tembo and Mudanga. In a single night, their Iboga ceremony accomplished what seemed impossible: my mother's complete liberation from addiction, alignment with her soul's purpose, and the eradication of her anxiety and panic attacks. As for me, I underwent a profound personal transformation and was graciously invited to delve deeper into the healing power of Iboga. To this day, my mother and I are living testaments to healing, embracing health, happiness, and pursuing our life's true purpose. My love for Iboga, the Bwiti tradition, and the incredible family that facilitated my healing knows no bounds. Each day, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I have regained my beloved mother, and I have reclaimed my life. Presently, I collaborate with and learn from Tembo and Mudanga, as they have assisted me in discovering my true self—the very essence I have sought throughout my entire existence. I want to help others find that too, as we all deserve it, and without it, we are not truly living or awake. This is the driving force behind the creation of Ngonde.

The ceremony was profound and absolutely transformative. I saw visions of my childhood and glimpses of what may come to be in the future. It felt like walking through my dreams while still being awake, a deeply surreal and enlightening journey.
The ceremony itself was diligently organized with a knowledgeable and compassionate "staff". All the participants were supportive and understanding which created a sense of community that added to the positive atmosphere.
Before the ceremony I struggled with anger and anxiety but the iboga ceremony drastically reduced both, permanently. I feel much more at peace now, with a deeper understanding of myself and a greater sense of calm.
Overall, this iboga ceremony was an incredible experience that will leave a lasting impression on me. If you're seeking deep personal insight and healing, I highly recommend it!
I had an AMAZING healing journey that words can barely describe. It ended up being so much more than expected. Ngonde shared the wonderful tradition of the Bwiti and Iboga and created a safe and caring environment for all of the guests. We all became a family through this experience and I’m so thankful I chose Ngonde to guide me. After almost a lifetime of dealing with depression, I am finally free!

What a fantastic experience! Noah and the Ngonde crew handled everything really well. Very impressed. You can tell there was a lot of passion, energy, and time poured into this retreat. The Bwiti culture, customs, and traditions are amazing and very connected to the earth. The iboga ceremony is hard and really digs deep, but well worth it I must say. Centers you in who you are. Regardless of your background or struggles, anyone can benefit from Iboga and the Bwiti. At the end, everyone involved becomes a family and each person much lighter and glowing. Just don't be afraid to open your mind and your heart!
