Deceptive business
I am requesting a full refund from Nexuspassonline.com after the company failed to deliver the service that was promised and has not responded to my refund request.
On October 18, 2023, I had a scheduled phone consultation with an agent from Nexuspassonline.com named Rayyan Adil regarding assistance with obtaining a NEXUS pass. During this call, I fully disclosed that I had a past criminal charge in Canada that had already been expunged/pardoned.
The agent assured me that my background would not be a problem for the NEXUS application and also explicitly stated that if my application were denied, I would receive a full refund. Because of these assurances, I agreed to purchase their “fast-track” service for approximately $1,776.89 CAD.
Despite the service being marketed as a fast-track application, the process took over two years, after which my application was denied.
Following the denial, I contacted the company to request the full refund that was promised to me prior to purchase. I sent a formal written request for the refund and allowed 7 business days for a response. As of today, the company has not responded to my emails.
I feel that I was misled about:
My eligibility for the service
The promised refund if my application was denied
The advertised “fast-track” timeline
Desired Resolution
I am requesting a full refund of $1,776.89 CAD as promised by the company prior to purchase.
