I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
Three movers took 12.5 hours to complete a move for a 1,000 sq. ft. 2-bedroom apartment and that’s with everything already packed except for furniture and TVs. That timeline is completely unreasonable. During the move, the crew took a lunch break and repeatedly stepped away for personal phone calls, which only added to the delays.
The bigger issue, though, was how my belongings were handled. They shattered a TV, broke a dresser, and bent the legs of a cabinet. None of this was proactively brought to my attention. I discovered the damage myself while they were still there, and when I raised it, I was brushed off with “speak to the tall one,” who then told me to file a claim. I never received so much as an apology.
The lack of care extended throughout the entire move:
* Boxes were placed in the wrong rooms despite being clearly labeled (kitchen boxes in the office etc)
* Shelves were not reinstalled in multiple pieces of furniture
* A bathroom cabinet was left completely wrapped
* Wardrobe boxes weren’t emptied - I ended up doing that myself because of how long everything was taking
For all of this, I was charged just under $1,900.
To make matters worse, when I filed a claim, Ian offered $114 for the damage - which doesn’t come close to covering anything - and even suggested a discount if I used them again. That response alone speaks volumes.
Overall, this was an underhanded, unprofessional, and careless experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
