Bought a battery replacement kit for a samsung 10.1" tablet. All the tool ended up doing is cracking the screen and then pulling the glass away from the tablet. Complete waste of money!

I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 2599LMTHD Battery Replacement Kit with Tools hoping for a great experience. The brief video instruction never mentions the possibility of a connecter pin breaking off the control board when you attempt to slide the battery cable off the 3 pins. One pin came off the board and stayed in the connector attached to the old battery. This ruined our navigator. They promised a “great experience”. Had I been warned of this possibility, I would have never attempted to install a new battery. I paid $38.49 for the kit, paid for return shipping and then only received a $26.49 refund. My loss was about $20, NOT a great experience!

Trash. Bought NP battery replacement for kindle oasis. Failed to hold charge for a day of reading. Tried hard resets, charging every other day without discharging for 2-3 hours. All attempts failed - battery held charge for one day. I asked for another and it had the same problem. The battery cost was $45. They must have a ton of bad batteries bc they’ll just keep sending batteries that don’t work. They all come discharged. I’ve tried every experiment possible on these since I wanted to keep my oasis. But gave up and bough a different kindle since they discontinued the Oasis. Expensive frustrating trash.

Garbage. I purchased a Dyson V8 replacement batter on May 2, 2024. After barely using it, it completely died. I used it in July and August of 2024, was gone most of the rest of the time, and it is dead as a doornail. Useless waste of money! Do not buy!

I ordered a battery from them on June 30. I was told it was 24 hour delivery. I did not receive a battery as of July 9. No customer service. Avoid this company.

Ordered this battery kit for Kindle Oasis 10th Gen. It is totally useless because I have no idea how to even open the Kindle, due to lack of instructions. WHO sells an item like this without instructions? I wasted $50, and it's too expensive to return.

I wish I had read reviews about this company before purchasing. I never got as far as to even install the battery (device broke trying to install), so I returned. The "restocking" fee is ridiculous. Here is the reason given that you can expect if you make a return. "The restocking fee, which covers the initial cost of order fulfillment, payment processing fees and shipping, as well as refurbishing and restocking the returned item, unfortunately applies to this order."

Oh, brother. I paid for the shipping both ways and they want to add a bogus fee. I would avoid doing business with the company.

Purchased a tablet battery on 2/19/24. when i played the install video there was no sound and the video was low resolution but you could see how this person was removing the back of the tablet with the supplied tool.
I did exactly as shown on the video and removed the back of the tablet only to discover I also cut off a microprocessor chip mounted on the outside edge of the tablet.
NOW MY TABLET IS DESTROYED AND UNUSABLE! $500 down the drain.
Do not buy from this company!

I just replaced the battery in my 12 yr old Kindle DX. I've never done anything like this before The video supplied was detailed and helpful. I had some issues removing the back of the Kindle and emailed support for suggestions. Even though it was a Saturday, they responded quickly with good suggestions. Evenutally I got the back off and successfully replaced the battery. I appreciate their help.

I have been using the new laptop battery for a few weeks now and have noticed some negative aspects. The laptop's battery run time on the original battery was up to 7 hours, while with the new battery, it is only 3.5 hours. Furthermore, the old battery had a capacity of 61% and still ran for 3.5 hours.

After a few days of use, the new battery's capacity dropped from 97% to 93.7%, and the laptop depleted in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

After 20 days, the battery's capacity is now 87.3%, and the maximum work time in the save energy profile is 4 hours.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this product and believe that the shop is a scammer.

Avoid doing any business with these extortionists. 30% restocking fee - amount not indicated anywhere. You can get products similar to what they are selling without that outrageous loss of money - just google different options, including AMAZON - but also others.

I ordered a NewPower99 D01400 Battery through Walmart on 09/17/2022 (Order# 2000102-35720813) for my 1st Generation Kindle Fire because the original battery was worn out. In less than six (6) months, this NewPower99 Battery won't hold a charge. Adding insult to injury, I apparently have to pay all kinds of exorbitant postage to get this garbage battery replaced under warranty. NewPower99 Batteries are complete garbage. NewPower99 claims that if the battery fails within the first year, they will send you a new one free of charge. That is not true. Customer Service just gives you the run-around. Don't waste your money with NewPower99.

It's a Cameron Sino Battery which you can get off of eBay for $25-30 with free shipping ($50 from Newpower99 with shipping). The one I received also had foam spacers between the two cells (all taped up), which were cut too big (maybe this cell was manufactured wrong?). This made the battery too big to allow the screen close/fit. The included tools are generic phone tools, these will not help with disassembly of an iPad air. -- I removed the spacers and this let the cell fit in the device -- I emailed about getting a replacement that was manufactured correctly, and was told "Our NewPower99 Battery Replacement Kit is a unique product kit containing our proprietary instructional battery replacement video, the best available non-OEM battery available on the market, installation tools necessary to replace the battery in your device, and a one year warranty. If you are not satisfied with the NewPower99 Battery Replacement Kit, and wish to return it for a complete refund, you may do so as follows: Please return the battery replacement kit along with your highlighted order no. and a copy of this email by regular mail to: . A restocking fee may apply." -- I had already corrected the spacers, and have it glued into the iPad. So valuable lesson for me, check eBay next time.

This is company has NO Customer Service. No way to contact anyone except through emails they don't answer. They sent me THE KIT which came without the tools necessary to open the Golf Buddy and the DVD needed a $60.00 upgrade to Windows 10 laptop to play. I finally found the correct YouTube NewPower99 video to watch - I located a tiny + screwdriver to remove the cover and was able to to complete the changing of the battery. The COMPANY was absolutely no help except they sent the battery. Changing the battery is MORE difficult than the video shows. but with much patience it can be done. Be very careful of the ribbon holding the circuit board on to the face of the golf buddy. They do warn you of that. I recommend buying the battery from someone else.

Replacing Garmin RV760LM battery. Removing the screws and prying open was the only information on the video that was correct.. The tools provided worked fine. But be very careful on opening because the flex cable is taped down so as to relieve stress on the connector but that prevents the unit from being open more than about 45 degrees. The entire procedure was done with my wife holding the unit up and opened at a 45 degree angle so as not to disturb the flex cable. You will need a dental pick or tweezers to LIFT UP not pull out the battery connector. The old battery will be glued down solidly. Pry up at the side of the battery very slowly until you hear the light crackling sound of the adhesive releasing. Maintain that amount of pressure to keep the crackling going but no more. Eventually the tearing action will release the old battery. The replacement battery’s cable comes out of the wrong corner or is not long enough to reach the connector if the battery is placed in the receptacle text side up as was the original. So placed it in upside down. After ripping off the adhesive which I put on the wrong side. Not impossible with care and patience, but not as easy as the videos make it look. The electrical specifications matched the old battery.

Read their website ordered from them. Bought a new battery for my Kindle Fire. Total disappointment!!! Instruction DVD had total wrong information. None of the steps they talked me through were correct. The battery they sent me was the incorrect size. When I placed it into the battery compartment the cable wouldn't reach the connector port on my device. They have no phone number to call for customer support. You can only contact them by email. I've sent an email. No response yet.

They did finally respond after 3 emails. The customer service agent asked me send him the numbers off of my old battery which I did. He advised me to send them the battery they had sent me and they'd send me the correct battery. So I had to mail them the incorrect battery (at my cost) and they refunded my original purchase money minus a restocking fee. I wasn't happy about that either. When I received the new battery, I put it in the device and it still didn't work. That's not really their fault but here I go again. I get to pay for the postage to send it back and they'll charge me another restocking fee. I'll be out around fifty bucks and ended up without anything. How would you feel about that????

Ordered a replacement battery for my golf buddy. They sent me UPS tracking info but UPS says it isn’t the same address as on the invoice. They offer a phone number for sales but only emufor customer service. UPS says only they can fix.
I would not buy a rock from this company quick to take your cash and non existent when you need help

Made an order April 8th and still waiting. Emailed the company and never heard from them. I was even given a tracking number. Package still waiting to be picked up.

I purchased an I phone 6 battery from NewPower99.com.It came with a video and tools to install the battery. My son who is very technical watched the video and carefully installed the battery on my Iphone. Charged the battery overnight next day my phone would not work at all.
Drove to the Apple store where technicians informed me that they could not remove the battery to check my phone without damaging the phone. I had to purchase a new I phone. Contacted company, they sent me a refund.. I am out $300 for a new Iphone..
