From my very first visit to New Life Teeth in Manchester I knew I had chosen the best place to have my all on 4 implants, I was looked after from day one by a lovely girl called Sundas who took care of me as I was very nervous. I then met Louis who was to carry out my treatment, Louis took me through exactly what he would do for me.my whole treatment was planned well in advance and all appointments were planed around my availability. I have just had my final teeth 14/08/26 and could not be happier with the results. Everyone there were absolutely amazing and fantastic and Louis has a fantastic career ahead of him. I was in the Edinburgh clinic for an initial assessment for suitability of full mouth implants. I have to say from the minute I walked through the door the staff and every stage of the process was first class and i genuinely can’t imagine you could get a better experience anywhere.

Disappointed! Before I even went was “triaged” with medical questions that I felt should have been discussed with medical professionals not reception staff. I was then told I would be classed as “complex” even BEFORE Having a CT scan and speaking with surgeon! No other implant provider has told me I am “complex as my bone density is good and my health stable! Before even attending they raised the estimated cost from £16500 to £24500 and that’s before I even go!

So when I asked if I could have copy of ct scan ifI did attend ( as entitled to under DPA ) they cited £50 charges to do this although supposed to be free legally, so all in all I decided their value system was not mine and refused assessment as little point, “free” or not!!.

9th Aug New Life Teeth Manchester

Update: Since last week, my gums were sore at the start, more so my top gum, as the week went on; by the middle of the week my bottom gum felt good with no pain, just a little strange having an implant on it. By the end of the week, my top gum was feeling a bit better but still sore.

I have started using the toothpick supplied by NLT, which was ok on the bottom but a little painful in places on the top, but I managed it and am getting better the more I try.

The left side of the cheek inside my mouth feels strange; it's a little more painful. I have to be careful I don't bite it, which I have done, as it still feels swollen; the teeth keep rubbing against it.

I am still on soft food. This week I had a decaf coffee after only drinking green/mint tea since surgery; that was nice. I take a multivitamin daily, brush with Euthymol toothpaste after every meal, then use the Clinisept+ in between salt water.

I have been suffering from pain and soreness; now it has started coming together with my mouth just feeling strange with a new mouthful of teeth.

In the week, I had a call from Jamie NLT Manchester to see how I was getting on, asking if I had any questions, which he answered, gave me advice, and reassured me that what I was doing was correct and what to expect in the coming weeks.

So far, I am very impressed with NLT and highly recommend them.

I had full mouth implants in Edinburgh starting my treatment in January and completing it yesterday when my finals were fitted. I am delighted with the result. The treatment from all the staff in the team was exceptional. Special thanks to Gregor who performed my surgery . I couldn’t believe how painless it was! He made me feel at ease straight away and I couldnt have asked for anyone better to start me on my journey. It’s so great to be able to smile again. Did what they promised: a new smile in a day! The people I met were all very professional and friendly from first contact in early January, to the main operation in February and through to final completion of treatment in mid July.

So the initial operation took place from 8.30 in the morning and by 13:30 I was on my way home with a new smile. Can’t say it was completely pain free as I think the anaesthetic was wearing off towards the end of the procedure. But I’ve been through worse!
Subsequently there were a series of follow up visits as my mouth healed and settled down. This included fitting an intermediate set of teeth in May before the final Zirconia set at end of June.
During this time, I had to go on a soft diet to prevent stress on the new implants. This turned out to be a pleasant change from normal diet so no big problem!

So, after six months or so , how do I feel?
They certainly did what they promised: a new smile in a day! Aesthetically I can’t complain, however after decades of gradual deterioration of my own teeth and learning not to smile, it will take time to get fully confident in smiling again.

The only real negative is on the practical side of eating. I find that food tends to stick to the new teeth, and gets into all the new neuks and crannies that exist around my mouth , and underneath the new plates. There is a lot more work to clean around my mouth, with brushing, poking and flushing. Unlike a removable plate, it takes time and effort to keep things clean.

Anyway, all done now and reasonably happy with the results. I find myself noticing other people’s smiles more, and thinking they should consider getting the treatment!!! Would certainly recommend New Life Teeth to anyone considering this life changing treatment!

I had full mouth implants Sept 25 in Edinburgh,I was a complex case and Dr Lutton flew over from Ireland to perform my surgery ...I cannot praise the team in Edinburgh enough from Dr Mackintosh and the very lovely lady Kayleigh also all the clinical staff I was fortunate enough to meet. I had a slight hiccup with my trial arches however that was promptly dealt with and have had zero issues since, I can only say that this treatment has changed my life for the better.
If anyone is considering implant surgery don't hesitate to get in touch with NLT they are absolutely wonderful and amazing at what they do. I had no pain what so ever, discomfort is all I can describe it as .
I'm one very happy lady and have zero regrets.

from my first consultation.the staff were brilliant and friendly from the reception staff to getting scans done . nothing short of fist class.
after scans I got the full run down of what they could do for me .from what would be done,to when it would start .with no hidden costs in a plain simply way and chat .they were happy even encouraged any questions .and we're happy to answer them in a plain simple way which was refreshing.felt totally comfortable and relaxed.

I recently had my veneers/crowns replaced by Dr Chris McAuley. My first veneers were 3 years old I got them done in Belfast but I really hated them and my confidence was so low with them, they looked like “Turkey teeth”, everyone would ask where did you get your teeth done and this was never what I wanted. Anytime I was getting a photo on a night out or on holiday with family people would say oh don’t smile with your teeth because mine would look so white compared to theirs.

I did around 2 years worth of research to find a dentist that did cosmetic work that was natural and looked like real teeth. I found a man who hand made ceramic veneers and asked him who he recommended around Belfast/Ireland and one of the people was Dr Chris.
I then of course followed his work for around 6 months before going for a consultation. I think there was around a 6 week wait before I could get in the work which is a great sign of a bloody brilliant dentist when he’s so busy!
Dr Chris is professional, makes you so comfortable and very chilled. He listened to what I wanted.
He is an absolute perfectionist about his work and every single tooth had to be perfect. I had my final review today something I never got with my previous dentist. The teeth are guaranteed for 3 years which is impressive.
Anyone considering getting cosmetic dentist work done don’t hesitate to use new life.
I feel like I’ve got my confidence back I’m not afraid to smile and I’m not self conscious about talking to people anymore!!

I’m so delighted with my new teeth. It’s quite an investment but I’m so glad I did it. I’d considered having it done in Turkey but having gone through the process at NLT and realising how much aftercare I needed, (my treatment required was quite complex) I knew I’d made the right decision to have it done in New Life Teeth Belfast. The staff are just wonderful and you feel cared for and supported through the whole journey. I was terrified on the day I arrived for the surgery but I was soon reassured that I would be managed so that I would feel no discomfort. Indeed that was the case. In fact I’ve little memory of the whole procedure. I would encourage anyone considering dental cosmetic surgery to make an appointment. The first appointment is absolutely free anyway and there is no obligation to take it any farther.

Explain the reasons why I came to have implants

I was born with protruding top teeth. At 4 years old, I knocked out my first 2 front teeth on the back doorstep. So no front teeth, my second ones are 7 years old. In 1957, in the school playground, I fell and knocked them out, so I never had front teeth. That started my experience with false teeth on a pallet- not very lucky.

At a dental appointment when I was 17, I was told my top gum protruded too much from brushing my teeth wrong, so I was sent to King's College Dental Hospital to have some of my gum cut away (not very nice).

Then I had problems with my complete upper left jaw and the 2 false teeth, so I decided to have a bridge that I was happy with. Unfortunately, that only lasted 10 years, so it had to come out, and I had a full upper left jaw with a false denture that I was not happy with, but it was better than nothing at all.

In 2006, I had a lot of problems with my complete upper right jaw. Luckily, I had the teeth removed and had a bridge fitted by the NHS that worked well and cost me nothing.

Now, at 76 years old, the bridge was giving me trouble, and the false teeth were not very good, with the bottom not being in line with the top and having no bite pattern, chewing my food against my palate with my bottom teeth and not having a good bite.

My bottom set of teeth had many gaps, so I had to pick food out of my teeth and clean them after every meal. (Not very good when in a restaurant and no way of cleaning)

I found out on Facebook that you can have full-mouth dental implants. I was very excited. I am quite fit for my age, so I decided to go for it before I got too old.

After looking around at different dental surgeries that do this, comparing prices, what you get, reputation, and more importantly, the facilities they offer, I decided to go with New Life Teeth. It has 4 surgeries: 2 in Ireland and 2 in the UK. It was not the cheapest note, but the most expensive.

At the end of the treatment, I would get Prettau Zirconia restorations on 6 titanium posts in the upper and lower jaws. Surgery day was 13 July 2026 for full-mouth dental implants placed on 12 titanium posts. I was in the chair for 4 hours with no pain. I was happy when I finished, even though my jaw hurt.

It is 3 days since surgery, and the pain has gone with no swelling or bruising. I am very, very pleased with the outcome. After 76 years, I have a proper set of teeth that look great. I am looking forward to the end result when I get my Prettau Zirconia at the beginning of December.
I hope I explained my Journey without rambling on too much.
