Poor quality product.
So, I had 20 meters of turf delivered on Friday 20th June at approx 11.30am. I was told to try to get it laid that day.
Later that evening, after the job was complete I noticed a couple of the turfs looking less than healthy.
I emailed New Forest Turf on the Monday (their office is closed over the weekend) highlighting my issue.
The following day I received a reply telling me that any issues have to be raised the same day and, if the turf didn't show signs of recovery in a couple of weeks, they would happily sell me some more! I couldn't contact them the same day as I didn't finish the job until Friday evening. What a cheek! Sell the customer some dead grass and then suggest that they buy some more to replace it!
Two weeks down the line the grass is still dead. No sign of life at all. I feel as if I've been ripped off by a company who had previously supplied me with some decent turf. What are they playing at? I will buy some more - but not from them!
I wonder what excuse they will come out with in response to this review? Is there any chance of them replacing the dead turf? I'm thinking not!!
