Almost didn’t try to purchase a hat I really wanted from this website because of all the bad reviews. This was the cutest Formula One hat for a woman (it’s pink) I found anywhere so I took the risk. The price was fair. The shipping was fast and the hat fit perfect and more than met my expectations. No complaints & would purchase from them again.
No customer care and shipping issues
This is ridiculous company. How can there be no phone number for customer support or anything. It's 2025. Emails on order issues do not get resolved. Hats get delivered well over the expected arrival date which is always over the 7-10 business day they always say. Now

Ordered a $50 hat a month ago, says it is still sitting in PA where the company is located.. emailed customer service several times. No response, phone number says no support due to ongoing health crisis. I’m thinking it’s still on Covid from five years ago just a bunch of BS.

Delivery
I ordered 2 hats. And express air 25$ more to get 1-3 business days. I ordered on Thursday. And they won't get here until after the 3 day mark. So I waisted 25$ more just for regular delivery
Smashed Hats NEWERA is ok with that
I purchased 4 hats and got them shipped to rather fast.
The issue is that they crammed 4 hats in a tiny box that is not adequate for one much less 4.
All 4 hats are smashed and have creases mainly on one’s side. It makes the hats look horrible.
I contacted customer service for exchange and they claim they no not offer exchanges. They also claim it is common to cram hats in small boxes so hats shipped that way will look horrible.
On the positive side, they offer me a refund 4 to 6 days after they receive the damaged hats.
So yes one star is too much but I can’t leave zero stars as it is not an option.
4/3/2025 New Era has lied and has not refunded me for the damaged hats that they have received 3/31/2025.
I guess I should be happy that they refunded $25.92 from a $95.69 total order. Zero explanations from new era I have contacted them over 12 times since this occurred and have they are very unresponsive. They send auto responses that have nothing to do with questions and or inquiries
In short they have stoled my money and I am forced to reach out to my credit card for a dispute! In short stay away from Nee Era!.

Awful experience
Awful experience. My order never shipped. I waited 14 business days and reached out. They said it was an internal system error. They shipped it next day. That was like 10 days ago. Was supposed to get here yesterday and now it got pushed out 2 more days. Not buying again.

It was a terrible experience with New Era. I ordered a teen size, but they sent me a child size instead. When I called them, they admitted it was because they were out of stock—meaning they just send whatever they have instead of what the customer actually ordered.
I requested a return and refund, and after shipping the item back, I followed up with their customer service. Their response:
"Your parcel has reached the ReBound warehouse in the UK and will be shipped to our warehouse in Belgium within the next few days.
As soon as your parcel reaches our warehouse and gets scanned, a refund will be issued automatically. This can take up to 28 days from the date you sent your parcel to us processing the refund."
It’s absolutely ridiculous that in this day and age, a refund should take up to 28 days! I will never purchase from New Era again.

They sent me wrong size hat and refused to make it right ..did refund my money but wouldn't just exchange for the correct size told me I'm more than welcome to reorder the hat which was no longer on sale and would of cost me 22.00 more even though was their error ...i will no longer support them mind you I had just bought 9 hats 🤷♂️

Too bad you can't pick a 0 rating. Now, I am particularly talking about their customer service. It is basically non-existent, and if someone does write back, it's as if they didn't even read the email. I am actually blown away by how bad the support channel is with New Era. I mean you have to almost be TRYING to set a record for the worst support.
I love my LA sweater that I ordered, but issues with exchanging, and trying to contact support for questions related to the item and the exchange/return process.
It's really quite sad, and I wish they would improve their customer service. It's been 4 or so years now since Covid and all that, and they still have a voicemail explaining that Covid is why their customer service by phone is not a thing 🙄

By far the worst conducting business I ever came across in history. I've never been so screwed over by a company who did me dirty. Messed up my order and then sold out on the hat that I wanted and will not compensate me for it. And I have to wait over a month to get my money back. After screwing me over, they're making me wait to give me my full refund of 10 business days. They will not take any phone calls, and countless times sending emails. They ignore me for days and then they'll just say, 10 business days and we'll give you a refund. They only gave me a partial refund after screwing me over. They are making me wait for my money for something they screwed up on. Their computer was glitching or something because I had proof and pictures Of the hats that I purchased, and they completely send me different hats. I wanted a specific hat, and they sold out in my size, and they will not make up for nothing. I also reached out to them before they even sent my order out to get it fixed. They would not even look or even hold on to the hat size that I asked for, and they just did not want to do anything, they just told me the order is placed, and that's it. No eagerness, to try to help me or anything. I will never ever do business with this company again. I own almost 100 hats and I am big hat guy, and they lost my business.
Not honoring their policies
Tried to return a defective hat, but I was not able due to an issue on their site. Contacted customer service several times about it but never got a response. Filed a dispute with my credit card company but they decided that the verdict is I did not return the items within the timeframe.
If they could respond to the credit card company then they could have responded to customers.👎

On January 8th of 2025 new era received my return due to wrong size fitting , they approved my refund but i never received my refund back poor customer service due to the fact that is almost impossible to contact customer service for any question i definitely will never buy anything from them

Absolutely suck! I ordered a hat from them and had to send it back, because they a screen print issue… and the wrong team on my hat. They made me send back. Have not refunded me. I ordered another one & it’s messed up too!!!!

Zero stars! Horrible horrible customer service that you only can write some obscure email to a robot type person. No number to contact anyone and the items never even arrive. It’s a horrible company and I wish I had read the bad reviews first. “Cassidy” in email customer service can’t even locate the order despite multiple images attached to my email of order number, shipment location etc….what a joke this is. Order number US3440005 to be shipped to 185 N Catalina Avenue pasadena ca….this isn’t complicated stuff but yet the tracking shows it’s constantly “out for delivery” days and days on end. Email of order falkrothchildfamily. Myself, and my husband paid for two hats to be delivered to our son at his apartment but a “Cassidy” responds with the company email stating she can’t locate the order number under our names. What on earth is wrong with this company?
