Spam but don't worry... It's "legit"
I just received an email from this company that is quite possibly one of the least targeted emails I have ever received as a content creator in over a decade.
I run a tech/gaming YouTube channel, and I've gotten plenty of random offers for pretty random products, that I would arguably have a reason to use, even if not something that necessarily fits my channel's demographic, or something that my viewers would be a reasonable fit for as the target audience, even if it didn't fit my channel's content, or even something that, against all odds, I find interesting that has no relation to my channel or audience.
They often claim to have "found your channel" and/or "loved your content" but newengen takes it one step further by *repeatedly* saying they would love to work together, with *me* - the technology content creator... for one of their client brands' affiliate program that has beyond Nothing to do with me, my audience, my videos, or anything that as far as I am aware I have shown any interest in ever.
This has got to be one of the most shotgunned spam messages I have ever seen. I mean, sure.. They would like to "work" "with" me, as in, they wouldn't mind if I generated their client income while they don't contribute to that relationship *at all* but besides that, I'd love to hear more about the work they would like to do with me, because I don't think they really do at all.
