Not the service I expected — concerns with communication and transparency
I was looking for a personal loan to consolidate my debt, as the letter provided stated I was prequalified to receive one. However, I learned that a personal loan was not the immediate solution being offered. Instead, I was directed toward a debt settlement program, which I quickly realized was not the right option for my situation.
After submitting my cancellation request, the representative assigned to my account communicated in a way I found unprofessional, mixing factual information with personal opinions and judgments that I felt were unnecessary.
During the enrollment process, I was asked by the representative to leave a 5-star review, and I felt pressured to do so before moving forward. While I cannot speak to their intent, the timing of the request made me uncomfortable and left me feeling that my service experience was tied to providing a positive review.
Overall, while this program may be helpful for some people, it was not the right fit for me. My biggest concern was the way my cancellation was handled and the professionalism of the communication I received afterward.
