Second, when you do try to drink it it taste like a bowl of sugar

The product tasted good, it refreshed and reinvigorated as I hoped it would do. I taste trialled it rather than used it pre/post strenuous exercise so am not really in a position to say whether or not it improved performance/recovery time.

I would guess it probably would as it had a gatorade-esque texture and thickness so I would expect similar (if not better) results from this.

I would definitely try it again pre/post activity if asked to.
