I paid for a service I didn't receive a March 3rd and now I'm being told that I cannot get a provisional credit although I can prove. NetSpend is fine with making me wait an additional 10 to 45 days
Once again highly disappointed. I made a purchase through a site called clip where you purchase products at a discounted rate and you're able to utilize them. I purchased the product for a friend on the 3rd of March for $54 and sent the receipt to them as a gift so that they could utilize it. The friend told me several times that they did not receive the gift receipt and therefore no product was received or service. I opened a dispute and requested a provisional credit. After contacting the merchant they said that I had made no such purchase although you can clearly see it on my NetSpend account for $54 on the 3rd and that they could not help me with a refund because there was no account in my name, however they opened an account under the email that I sent the receipt to link to my name and my card. It is now the 17th there is no product there is no service and I do not have the money and I was told that I am not eligible for a provisional credit because there was no error on my account. I now have to still wait from 10:00 to 54 days to receive my money back with no credit from NetSpend which is absolutely ridiculous. I never received the service and I never received the product therefore I should be receiving a professional credit because in no world can I receive a service and not pay for it and they would have to wait that amount of time to receive payment from me. It is already the 17th and I've been dealing with this company since the 3rd and I've had no resolve just giving the runaround although you can clearly see the charge on my NetSpend account. And no ways this acceptable. Especially on behalf of NetSpend we should be looking out for my best interest. I should immediately be offered a credit seeing as how you can see the charge on my account, I don't have a service, and I do not have a product, the error was obviously on behalf of the merchant and it should be ruled in my favor however it is absolutely unacceptable to make me wait another 10 days to receive the money that I spent for a gift for a friend after I've already been waiting over 10 days and this chargeback could possibly take up to 54 days for me to receive almost $60 for a product and or service that I never received. I'm disgusted with the customer service and I'm discussing with the fact that it does not send like NetSpend has my best interests at heart. I am the customer and this other company can verify that these so-called certificates or whatever this is that you use these vouchers for these products and services were not used so why am I waiting and why am I not receiving my money back for something that I did not use, that the person did not receive or a service that I not did not receive when I clearly paid for it. Why is it fair for this company to do this and for my bank to sit here and hold $60 of my money that I earned and or work hard for and receive no product why am I waiting for a chargeback still when I've already clearly been waiting over 10 days for a service that I clearly paid for. This is so highly unacceptable and it's indicative of the type of customer service and or service you will receive from NetSpend if you go with this company. It does not matter if it was a error on my account or not there was a purchase for a product that I did not receive. There was a service that I did not receive. There is clearly a $60 charge on my account. Why am I being the one who has to be punished and or suffer or wait for my money because NetSpend doesn't want to offer a professional credit want to offer a provisional credit yet they would be willing to make me wait almost not only 10 because it's already been over 10 days but up to 54 days to receive a chargeback of my money. As a customer there's no way I can get a service and not pay for it for 54 days this is absolutely ridiculous and I'm so disgusted. I wish I could believe that NetSpend had my best interest in her but they obviously do not even in clear-cut cases if I pay for a service and don't receive it then I should receive a provisional credit as well as a full refund and I should not be the one who is punished and or have to wait to receive my money back absolutely ridiculous one star. Money back I will give them negative five stars if I could. That is clearly robbery if not fraud and there's no way that I should have to be held responsible and or have my money held up because of a mistake of a merchant.
