Just got the Q6 and ran into a real problem on my first outdoor shoot.
The light connects to the stand with a single hand-tightened knob and the moment you slap a softbox on it in any wind the whole thing slowly rotates and unscrews. My assistant literally had to hold the light the entire shoot.
A softbox in wind acts like a sail and that tiny knob just can't hold it. Feels like an oversight for a strobe marketed for outdoor use.
If I can't find a reliable solution, I'll probably have to return it.

I primarily used smallrig and tilta in the past as my main supplier for cage components. I have previously owned neweer products, but I didn't feel they met my standards for build quality and design that I expected. In the last couple years I have noticed a large improvement in both design and fit/finish from neweer. With my most recent S26 ultra cage purchase I was very impressed with the overall design and function. I can now say that I am comfortable relying on them for more serious video and photo work.

I like the product. It is great that it is battery contained as this becomes very portable.

They sent the light with a faulty power supply. Customer service is near non existent. Weeks later and still no new power supply.
Phone number they provide is to a voice-mail. No reply despite multiple calls.
UPDATE: Eventually was put in touch with US based customer service. They apologized for the mix up of being routed to China based customer service, tried to track down a new power supply, and found one on Amazon that they had me purchase. They refunded me the purchase price of the power supply, and some extra for my trouble. This whole process took far too long, though.
The lights themselves are grest so far. The clips for the lights don't seem like they are the best. Once a light popped out of one (light fell a few feet and is no worse for wear, so good build on the light) and another clip now has a baby pin with a 1/4 20 thread attached that I can't seem to undo, but the clips aren't the main draw of this light.
The bottom 1/4 20 thread on the light is great as I have a few low profile tripods for other tube lights that work well for these. Infinibars at 1/2 the cost.
These lights aren't perfect, but neither are Titan tubes. They are well worth the money, though.

The TP72A is an excellent, well made tripod. I also own a Neewer mini-tripod (M521) which I use with my spotting scope. The quality of the mini is the reason I purchased the TP72A.

Love the light...perfect for my new small home oil painting studio!!!

The size is great and the light soft. The light stand opening needs side zippers so the light head can pass through.

If you are ordering a large quantity of items, plan ahead. Delivery may take longer than indicated on the website. As for the products themselves, I have no complaints—everything is top-notch!
