Had a drag or two out of one of these and woke up the next morning with what felt like the start of a chest infection. Wet cough etc. Major irritation, still ongoing after almost a week. Whatever's in these 'Neafs' they are certainly not 'clean'. Down 30 euros now and feel somewhat stupid. Comeback?
I have been using NEAFS for over 3 years, but the recent batches (expiry 2027) are clearly defective.
The sticks produce almost no smoke, have a very unpleasant taste, and give off a strong mold-like smell. This is completely different from older batches, which were consistent. I currently have more than 20 packs from these new batches, and they are all unusable. The smell and taste are so bad that they affect my breathing and cause discomfort in my lungs.
In addition, I have experienced repeated device failures — this is now my 9th device showing the same red light issue and stopping working.
I have sent multiple emails, raised several support tickets, and tried contacting local distributors, but I have received no proper response or explanation.
This situation is very concerning. A product with such serious quality issues should not still be on sale without clear communication, investigation, and corrective action.
Ditto the previous comment regarding batch number 25061801 which is being sold in Dublin. How this batch passed quality control is both a worry and a mystery. Sickeningly unpleasant, strong taste which is in complete contrast to previous batches. Aftertaste can leave you feeling slightly nauseous. Pretty toxic experience and urgently needs to be addressed by the manufacturer.

I’ve been a loyal NEAFS customer for about four years now, mainly using their heated cigarettes, especially the coffee flavour. Over time, I’ve really come to appreciate them as a solid alternative to traditional cigarettes.
However, recently I’ve noticed a change — the flavour doesn’t feel as intense or rich as it used to be. The coffee notes in particular seem a bit more muted than before, which is a little disappointing considering how much I enjoyed the original taste.
That said, despite this change, I still believe NEAFS offers one of the best alternatives to normal cigarettes on the market. The overall experience is still satisfying, and I’ll continue using their products.
I just hope they consider bringing back the stronger flavour profile that long-time customers like me remember.

Their Neafs Sticks have been the only thing that has got me off cigarettes in about 40 years. The most realistic alternative to real cigarettes for those of us who find the habit is the hardest part to give up

I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding your NEAFS Stick products with batch code 25061801.
There is a clear and consistent issue with this batch. The products produce little to no smoke, have an extremely unpleasant taste, and emit a strong mold-like smell. This is not a minor defect—it makes the product completely unusable.
Despite this, these products are still being sold in Dublin, and no recall has been issued. I currently have more than 10 packs from this batch, which have been sitting unused for months due to these defects.
I have already submitted a complaint through your website form, but I have received no response or follow-up.

I have had incredible customer service. It has been many years since I switched from cigarettes to Neafs (after 30 years of smoking). I have had 2 problems with the company so far. First I had a payment and delivery problem which was resolved quickly and efficiently by the company people, but the reason I am writing this review is because of the second problem. I ordered sticks and I did not receive the usual quality. I sent an email to the company and after 1-2 days the solution arrived. One of the company people came to me personally and replaced the wrong product. I have never experienced such a level of professionalism in customer service from any company. I would like to thank Richard in particular for the high standards he represents in relation to his company.
