I recently completed the ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice through NC Skills and Consultancy, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My assessor, Martin Crankshaw, was excellent throughout the qualification. Feedback was always constructive, marking was incredibly prompt, and communication was clear from the beginning to the end of the course. Whenever I had a question, Martin was approachable and happy to help, while still encouraging me to produce work to the required Level 6 standard.

I chose the NVQ because I wanted a qualification that reflected my day-to-day professional role rather than a classroom-based exam, and it proved to be the right decision. The evidence requirements were challenging, but they were relevant to real workplace activities and genuinely improved my professional practice.

I'm pleased to have successfully achieved the qualification and can honestly say the experience has increased my confidence in strategic health and safety management. The support from NC Skills made what could have been a daunting process feel well organised and achievable.

I have used NC Skills for both my NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and more recently my NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

The NEBOSH General Certificate was classroom based and very well delivered. The course content was clear, structured properly and easy to follow. It made what can be a heavy subject far more manageable.

I then completed the Level 6 NVQ Diploma through workplace assessment. I was given two years to complete the coursework, which provided flexibility around full time work. The evidence requirements were clearly set out and the guidance made the process straightforward.

Martin, who runs NC Skills, was supportive throughout both qualifications. He was always available by phone or email and provided clear, practical feedback. The online portal was simple to use and made uploading and tracking progress easy.

In terms of value for money, the pricing for both qualifications is hard to beat. For the level of support provided, I genuinely do not think you will find better.

I have recommended NC Skills to others and would continue to do so without hesitation.

Highly recommend NC Skills and Martin for completing training requirements. Excellent value for money also. I shopped around and did some research prior to signing up for the NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety Practice. NC Skills were the cheapest, by hundreds of pounds. Excellent support throughout. Maybe a bit more work required throughout as opposed to other training providers, but this is what’s required to achieve the gold standard training that NC Skills provides.

Done my NGC a few years back, Martin is a friendly guy and a fantastic teacher.

I contacted Martin from a recommendation from a friend who used NC skills. I opted to take the NEBOSH general certificate online. I found Martin to be responsive to questions I had via email. The course itself was enjoyable and I was online with others as well as students in the classroom. Being online, Martin was able to make me feel like I was in class room with good collaboration between online students and class based students. We were able to hear and see everything in class and I felt this worked very well.
Martins Online videos are excellent and helped me when it came to my exam and risk assessment. Martin provided good feedback for me from the homework i Submitted.
I felt with Martins guidance and teaching I was more than prepared for the exam and risk assessment and would highly recommend NC Skills should you wish to sit your NEBOSH general certificate.

Martin was so good and a great teacher !!. I had a credit in my NG1.& 2. I will highly recommend him… though I was skeptical on how I will cope as I had a 3 months old baby.. but I did get through with classes. the Materials(handbook) was super helpful too!!

Nebosh GC.

After trying to do my nebosh via e-learning for 130hours. I decided to take on a recommendation and that was Martin at NCskill.

Could not have picked a better teacher, his extensive knowledge of HS and the way he articulated the course to the class with total inclusion to everyone, noting that some peoples first language was not English he took his time and explained everything in great detail.

I have recommended Martin to numerous people and have also booked my wife onto his general certificate course in October.

Highly recommend his method of learning and him as a teacher.
