I ordered furniture a few months ago and am still waiting for it to arrive. Having chased on a couple of occasions, I was assured by Karen that the items were due to be collected by the delivery company and would be with me thereafter. I was then informed by Karen that they had 'lost' part of my order and as it was the end of the line, they didn't have any like for like replacement items. The thing that bugs me the most is that there was no offer of a solution - I had to come up with some ideas as how to remedy the problem. This is a really disappointing outcome as the guys in the showroom were really pleasant to deal with and having witnessed the process, NCF ask for a review shortly after ordering, at which point most people are reasonably happy, however, as per my experience, the lack of customer service that follows doesn't match the initial contact and I would imagine that if a review was asked for after delivery, the outcome might be different.
The after sales customer service is letting NCF down. It won't be a company that I will consider using again and will be quite vocal to anyone I know who is buying furniture to avoid at all costs.
